I was under the impression that no loot of any kind was available in the test server. Good to know where these jewels are doing so we have an idea of where to farm once the expansion goes live.
The good news is that the drop rate seems same as the current essence rate on the live server, so it won't be a problem to craft noble jewels.Originally Posted by Bluebatthing

Did you have any of the old essences? From what I've read, if we have left over essences when the expansion launches, we're able to craft jewels using them. Is it possible to verify this?
Yes it can: cracked Fury for 5 blood, cracked Finesse for 5 fire, cracked Mind for 5 glacial essence. The other jewels cannot be crafted from essences.
But not worth saving essences because cracked jewel drop rate is fine. It was my plan too.

Great info!! I will personally hold off on crafting gems and save the essences to craft cracked jewels later, might as well because looks like the main stats jewels are superior to the current gems. Thanks for posting this.
