Full int, hybrid dex/int or paladin?

I like Hybrid Dex/Int so I can use Raid Roach for main PVP set and for Bosses, and I use Mega Mage for clearing/ for secondary PVP set

I think it's about playstyle... Let me set it up like this:

Pure INT "The Nuking Mage": Very good skill damage. It gives very high area damage. U will be using Mage equipment which also got good DPS.

Hybrid DEX/INT "Dexchantress or Dexmage": U will get very high DPS but u will need to sacrifice ur very high area damage u got from Pure INT. U will be using archer equipment which got very high DPS.

Hybrid STR/INT "Paladin": This is a very good Tanker. Normally using FF or Fortified as end-game gear. U will still sacrifice ur high area damage from the Pure INT build. You won't get that high base damage but good survivability.

I think it's more Attack Bears that choose to use Fortified.. My mistake I believe..

When you say you will be using archer gear, do you mean the whole set ( head/chest/weapon/ etc.. ) or just certain pieces
I am still trying to wrap my head around speccing a mage differently from a pure mage

U would be using (As only Hybrid not Dual spec) Helm, Leather, Recurve and have another set containing Talon+Shield... (U can use the helm and the leather in both sets)

For Dual spec i would only use Recurve but u will still need a one-handed wep and a shield to dual spec..

This is strictly PvE if it were for PvP I would only use xbow...

i will try to make dex/int and using daggers, bcoz healing is cool. close attack and self healing, i think its a good idea

My Elf is a Dex/int mage , so why not go pure or pally mage , that's what i think about :

. Str and Dex and Int , what good for a Elf ? what you want you Elf to be ?
Str : + Melee damage ; + Dodge ; + Hp also H/s....
Dex: + Rang damage ; + Hit% , + Crit% , Big + DPS ....
Int : + spell damege ; + mana pool , M/s ....

Str / Dex Pally : Str / Dex , in Str gear they are more Hp , more Dodge,more
H/s , less on mana .less on spell damage & rang damage ,less on
M/s..... look like the bast job for them are tank (aoe tank) ,but
cat dont got skill like Taunt ,so with low AoE Dps Vs pure int
mage ... low boss fight dps vs. Dex mage & hunter , how can
you hold your aggro as a tank ? and with this build and gear you
cant be a good dps for sure ,so what you do in a party ? Healer ?
you dont have +spell power after all ,and low on Mp M/s ,you
cant be a good healer ether .... so what are you ?

Str / int Pally : you got little better on mana , M/s also spell power , in str
gear you are a nice pally , in int gear you str only make you more Hp H/s
and few more dodge .... but still not much on dps ,dont have great
spell power , very low on the hit % (not good dps on boss ) ,also
cant be a end game tank , so you may better then Str/dex pally
but not much better after all .......

pure mage : its the stand way and Ez way ,nothing need to say .

Dex / int mage : i been play WoW sinc beta , in wow the 1st thing a mage
need is hit% , thats why i want Dex ,also mage is a spell damage class
but we are use rang weapon too , Dex give us big + on dps
i don't realy want to wear a hunter 's gear ; with mage gear we
not lose much spell power as a pure mage in AoE , but way more
dps when we fight boss .also our mana m/s are nice too , only
down side for us it too high on dps some time tank can't hold
aggro ,but that‘s not your problem ，as a mage our job is heal ,
rev ,Buff ，debuff and kill !kill kill !!!!!

I found that respecing from a pure Int enchantress to a more balanced build helped me immensely. I use around 10 or more Int points than is required for my gear, and then 75% goes to Dex and the rest to Str. I can never seem to use all my mana, I have over 100% hit ratio, ridiculously high crit, and I can take way more damage then ever, as well as dealing the same amount of dps that I've seen level 50s running around with.
Pure classes are far less capable in my opinion.

It all comes down to personal preference. I enjoy playing a full int enchantress because of the high hits. I can usually avoid taking damage anyway, but then again, that's what potions/heal is for.
