Default Rings, when do you get em?

    Hi all,

I have started playing PL maybe a week or so ago. I am a lvl 26 enchantress and am going through the lost expedition maps. After the patch I got refunded some platinum and while browsing the shop I noticed they have lvl 20 rings for sale (the 10 plat ones). These rings would be handy, but Im not going to spend plat on an item type that may start dropping soon.

So my question is when do rings start dropping? Im very curious if they drop at all since when I check the AH, there are listed.

    Thanks

    Thanks Major

So do most high lvls have a ring from the shop then? Or is there quest ones? lol, I'm skeptical to buy one, but if it's the only way, then I guess I have to.

the only way you can get rings is from the shop. For my bird I've got 2, one that increases damage and one that increases armor. I've only got an armor one for my bear. My mage doesn't have any yet but will soon! I def recommend getting two rings if you can afford them. One for damage and one for armor. BTW, you can only wear one at a time, you have to switch them out depending on the situation.

Another point is that rings can be quite useful for adding stats that your character may be lacking in. For example, with the mega mage armour you don't get much (or none can't remember) hit %, so I have a ring which increases this stat along with a bit of damage, m/s and armour. How big a difference these rings actually make in reality is detable.
