Will pets ever become account wide?

So I've been wondering this for awhile and never asked till now.. But do you think pets will become account wide? I have a Mage with close to every pet in game, and I have a rogue I want to play but don't have the time/money to buy all those pets again for that one toon so kinda puts me off from playing him. What are you thoughts?

Not going to happen.
For example, If you have a level 46 pet in your lvl 46 toon,
Then in your new level 1 alt, what level it will be?
Also, this thing seems too easy. And easy things just aren't supposed to happen for a brand new alt.

They could make the pets level go by what level your toon is.. So for example if you make a brand new toon the pets level will be 1 on that toon.. If you have a 46 it will be 46, you know what I mean?

Pets aren't allowed account wide to avoid an over-saturation of pet eggs in game. When a new pet is released, demand is very high, but when the majority of players obtain it, demand plummets since no one needs to buy it anymore. Restricting pets to one character keeps demand up and as a result prices up as well.
