The gold limit is 100m for your character and 100m for stash, so it actually is 200m already. That's not even counting the 100m allowed on each alt. I have trouble believing this isn't enough, when the most expensive item in game is currently under 50m.

The OP said he/she looted a shard when it was in the 80mils, but never talked about looting anything else worthwhile. So thats 80/200mil. You do know its like 50 plat or something to make an alt right? Also this economy is so bad atm how you gonna go from 80mil(assuming the op never spent that gold) to 200m+ in this economy where prices crash everywhere. 3.3k plat is not so large of a history compared to others. Doesnt it even make you wonder? You would need to loot 3-4 fossils from arena back when they were 35-40m to be at 200mil+, probably double or triple the amount considering the price they are now

Not reading all of this so sorry if was already mentioned. The gold cap was an issue in the past because of some items that exceeded the cap and you were buying from someone you didn't know. For example my ring was 120m and I would have been nervous had I not known the seller.

However with the plat farming reduced and prices evened out the gold cap isnt a huge issue anymore. I'd rather sts focus on more pertinent issues than this.
