As time goes on this does not change, over time it wont bother you really, though there are times you will be uncofortable, keeping an "air" that says dont try it helps. Threw time i have been called snob ( i cant use the other words here) because i refuse to give slightes attention, eye contact body language that even suggests i hear these comments. I have had men out right walk up to me with their phone number and upon saying no thank you, gotten blasted with profanity.. The feeling like you are the meat in a meat market is not fun,

Sorry Brooke, that was me in my time..... I was the hot construction worker.....the difference is that i would have acted instead of ogling. Would have said hi, made some sort of light joke of something and said if your not busy enough to catch a movie with me and few friends, give me a call and handed ya my number. If ya had turned me down, my thoughts would have been no loss as there was nothing gained... Now if LADYHADASA had turned me down, I would have walked off and thought the world was coming to an end, ranted on PL about some ideologies of girls being piglets and jumped off the brooklyn bridge because I couldn't live with such treatment.
