I didn't get any event point... I opened Box of Building Supplies but got only Garetta Tokens. No Event Tokens... I opened when I was inside guild hall...
Any body else having the same problem?

Yeah every bundle of supplies gives Garetta points to the community goal at the top of the screen, and also Garetta tokens which can be spent with an NPC in Garetta village, there's a banner and some legendary gear

there's another NPC there selling items (mythic and arcane) for crate tokens, which are different again (these come from new Ren'gol crates or the yet-to-be-released new elite chests).

Developers I'm very disappointed with your Fortification of Garetta Event's planning and management. The Garetta rebuilding mission lasted only 24 hours approximately. It didn't give most of players any chance to figure it out, how it works and collect the Garetta tokens. The time most players realized how to collect all materials properly to craft a supply box it was too late. It totally ruined the event experience. The meter was running way to fast and by the end of day it almost completed. It could have expanded until July 4th atleast. I couldn't get 100 Garetta coins to get the event banner, leave 'The Rebuilder' title aside. To add more pain you guys made Supply boxes unstashable and useless after event was over. I see no point to still keeping the Garetta coin vendor out there in the town. It's ironic that you could still buy Axes and craft materials even the event is over but can't open the supply boxes to add more Garetta coins.
