Problems downloading patch

Ok well i am currently running version: 1.7.1 (56506.54131.57273)
well i say running, that is the version i have and when i open the app, i get prompted to install an update.

So i go to the app store and the newest version is 1.7.1.1


The problem being when i go to itunes i do not have the option to update pocket legends. I have tried re-downloading the app and sync'ing to no avail.

The only thing i can think of to do, is delete the app and reinstall, however will i lose the saved data? or is it stored on the server? or do you know anything else i can try to fix my problem
