I heard 30/50/100 runes. Lol, have no idea which is right cause I haven't tried it myself. 50 sounds right if it's 8 bucks though.

Um, why? You're gonna go through all that trouble to farm AND spend the money to switch back and forth just for some gold? The captain/colonel symbols aren't even worth that much.
If you want to spend real cash to make gold, just buy some general symbols, craft them into epics and sell for 5000g+

Buying gold with cash is a helluva lot more expensive then switching back and forth between servers.....

If you can't afford a couple of general symbols by now jus from playing, then you're doing something wrong.

Heartforgers aren't cheap ya know. I've recently purchased one after rediculous amounts of grinding and as you've most likely seen, all the gold spots are completely over crowded now. The server switch was just a thought, never said I would go through with it. I used to be able to farm 50-100G every 40 mins and
Now it takes double.... GL needs to increase mob sizes. I don't see them doing that though, probably to promote the use of server switches

Sure symbols are cheap, but materials arent. Unless you have all the time to invest farming them opposed to buying them lol, but it's too tedious and boring. I'm only up to professional on my warrior and it's cost me a bunch.

Besides farming gold, what other ways have you guys come across to gaining gold?

I farmed colonel symbols for awhile. And general (but didn't get squat). I did farm the guardians for awhile and got a heartforger of the rainbow.

I doubt the name is taken, but if it is you can just add a symbol or something.
Make sure you join the American server Arcadian Forest. Servers are completely separate so if you join the wrong one, you won't be able to interact with us at all.

True he won't be able to interact, but if Phys accidentally joined a wrong one, the server migration feature is already up so he can just transfer to the correct one.
Another alternative would be that we transfer to a less populated server, less competition on bosses, cheaper / higher AH prices depending on supply and demand.

Have yet to loot one myself Do umbra mobs not drop them bc I've killed an awful lot of them.

General symbol is down to 300 gold but still expensive. I also have no luck with farming. Maybe I'll have to wait for dungeon to get better gears.

Not only is it silly, it does not work. Word is only your character and level switch, all equip / money is lost to prevent this.

I thought it's everything except items in AH and mailbox. Even on a less populated server, I still think those mobs are being farmed just as much.

You need wifi to play the game. Period.
Some have gotten around it by jailbreaking, using 3G hotspots to mimic wifi, etc. But I have just been using it when near strong wifi connections.

Yeah, that's with anything online, on an Touch. All it can access is WiFi, unlike an Iphone, which has 3g.
