The icons are still from WoW but if you look closely they skill tree seems good to plan your warrior skill tree.

Here is another more complete talent tree calculator.

Hit 60 on PaleRider last night! I tried to keep up with Mits, but couldn't do it. Prepping for a cross-country move and doing final social/friends rounds is more impt right now.

So I am playing my monk (Moogz) a little, only at lvl 11, what a totally different mindset from the warrior. I am going mostly military. If any monks have any siggestions, I'd appreciate it.

On that note, if anyone has cool metal/cloth armor for a monk up to about lvl 20, pls shoot it my way, I can send mats or pay for it

    Hope everyone is well!

    Congrats!!!

I have been very jealous of warrior farming at 60, machines really.

Good luck on the move too, hope you can get back to us soon

PS: Just a quick tips on military monks :

When levelling, I initially went for Polearm - the big weapon damage and the impression of being like a 2H warrior was appealing, but after consideration I feel like a Fist/Mace setup would work faster and better. Fist/mace gives more stats (since 2 weapons), better DPS - nothing is more annoying than waiting for that 2+ 2H weapon to attack a mob with almost 0 HP left to kill, and faster skill usage (Tiger Claw is really good in single target damaging).

A few advantages in polearm using is the crit, IMO. If you get that Mantis Cudgel upgrade of 5 sec daze and 1% crit each point (the crit only works if your using polearm), you can get quite good crit as a polearm monk. A polearm would work better for an AoE type too (I suggest spec-ing as one towards the grinding levels, 40-60).

Expect to eat too, a lot. That was one hurdle I constantly had to face as a military monk until 60, the mana. Depending on the mobs I would fight, I'd say an average of 4-5 mobs I'd have to sit and eat. It only got better towards the later levels when I could mob up and AoE them to maximise mana usage.

Also, the game seems to think that Str/Stam is the ideal military monk stats. I don't think it works well, str only adds damage and stam only adds HP. I would go for agi/wisdom while levelling and pure agi/crit when 60. Agi gives dodge and crit (good for levelling since mana is a problem, maximise each skill by crit. You also have that mana % gain per dodge/parry, so the more dodge the more mana gained), and wisdom gives more mana pool so when you do sit and eat, you get as much mana as you can

Uh kinda rambled there, hope it made sense Just a few of my observations on military monks.. Heh. Monk is full divine now after archer, useful for boosting people

    Grats Moog~

Hell, I tried to keep up with Elly and Ech and couldn’t do it as well Finally got both archer ranger and divine monk to 60 on Saturday and been having some just running around like a mad man.

Orc battle war and undead permafrost mage this week; might farm a little just for some gold to feed the new toons and check AH stuff, big busy work weeks to come til mid-June. So see you when you are back fully etc.

Anyone need some questing help and etc just let me know in guildchat or whisper.

Teena’s at master cloth, I am sure she can hook us up on crafted cloth lowbie items. I think mostly need geradine etc.

Ech’s divine monk is lv30 now and starting to craft, so I will start to send all cloth mats to him and get up crafting.

I ran my toons to first town in Arcadian forest last night. God I forgot how beautiful the environment looks and cant wait to be a lowbie again lol

@Mits Well technically I couldn't keep up with you since you already have 2 60s.

Monk is 31 at the moment and I got him today to advance cloth crafter. Took me about 30+ gold to get it there but the first 2 levels are really hard to get the currency needed.

Not its all wool and exquisite armor scraps which I farm a lot. I am going to make mostly military stuff unless some divine monk needs me to buy a specific recipe but when I hit master level I will buy all of them.

Elly remember that str also gives armor 5 armor for each point of str. I am going for str and wisdom for farming and for pvp I am still thinking but I think str, stam and agl should be primary nto sure about this one though.

But I am able to kill players up to 2 levels above me without much problems no matter the class hehe.

Thanks for the tips guys. I may switch to divine later on, but for now, will play this a bit as a mainly military, and still farm a bit with the warrior. I have about ten recipes I picked up along the way, I am curious to go try a few out and see if they are better than the end game 55-60 armor. Then again, I am not a big fan of standing around for hours trying to camp recipes. I am only intermediate foundry anyway, it would take ages for me to get to crafting to where Les is.

Moog, grats on 60! I have t been really focused lately on getting my warrior to 60 for some reason.

As for crafting, the master recipes don't really seem worth the trouble right now, especially if you're not going to upgrade them to purples (which I won't). I hope an update will bring some better high-lvl recipes, but till then it just doesn't seem worth the time. When I get to 60 I may see if I can grab a couple of people to farm some general symbols (so we have a better chance at it), but truthfully I don't see myself farming a 2-hr spawn boss. You need 3 symbols PER recipe, and the boss doesn't even have 100% drop rate. Sounds awful. So till then, those blood ore recipes seem to be the best I can make, and we've all outgrown those as well.

Thx Les! Yeah, like Mits I ran out of quests other than the repeatables at lvl 58, so I just went to the beach, spent like 4 bucks on runes to get some xp pots, and ground out on bloodbeachbatz. I did get a Lava King Trident that I sold for dirt cheap to Asi, he was stoked. I bought that big a** green 58 sword, Starship Slayer or whatever, it is pimp.

One thing I noticed, and I don't know if my skills were just requiring more morale, but it seemed once I upgraded my spells to the last levels, I really struggled with morale to the point of annoyance sometimes. Oh well.

Yeah, Les, recipe camping sounds about as much fun as dragging my sensitive bits along a dull rusty razor blade Maybe we can party it up at some point.

Speaking of that guys (Elly, Les, Ech) can monks wear metal armor? If any of you guys have lowbie stuff, lemme know.

I added some of you on Moogz, and since I have one device, can't invite myself to guild, haha. I will try and ping you when on.

Thanks for the advanced monk tips, SmEllyIdol

Wow you looted one of those? When I get to a high enough lvl for it, I'll be asking for specifics

I'm pretty sure monks can only wear cloth -- apparently their armor comes mostly from a passive skill they have. Royce would know more.

I'd like to get my archer past the orlande escort quest if any higher lvls feel like helping me. I had to do it three times on my warrior and want to just get it done quickly with my archer.

I'm finding Rift a bit too dark and too much walking for my tastes. Bc of this, I haven't felt like playing much. I kinda miss the open desert (as bland as it may have been) that let me just follow the arrow in a straight line without worry of mountains or lava.

I may be on for a bit tonight, I can pop by and try to help with the Orlande one. Yes, I got a LK Trident on a drop, I'll tell you where specifically later, although I am beginning to think the odds are random....all three "good" drops I got were unexpected.

I love Rift, but it IS dark, I wish the sky was lighter. It is difficult to see some of the mobs sometimes until they are rightonyououchiewhatwasthat? Those stupid nearly-black boars that charge/knockdown are the worst.

You do rack up quite a bit of gold doing the repeatables, I ended up just tele-ing between the four places as needed and still had a good chunk of gold. Although I started skipping the rabid bulette/rockheart dailies because they are not massive xp and require going into the PvP zone usually.

Omg I HATE those boars! You can't run through them bc they keep knocking you down.
Yeah, I'll likely start teleporting between towns once I have a better idea of what's where. I still don't really know my way around Rift.
So wish there was better lighting there. The mobs look cool, the lava looks cool, but the area is just so dark and depressing.

How many daily quests are in Rift? I think I only done 7 so far and each give about 15k and gold. 105k exp isn't bad at all. Anyone know the timer on the daily quests? I think I was able to do two daily quests in a few hours apart on the same day.

Yeah, I am not sure on the timer, sometimes it seemed I could do them twice in less than 24hrs. Plus I think each person has their own timer, I am not sure if it is like PL where the Dailies became available at the same time every day for everyone.

Not sure if you are counting them, but there are two near Bulrinto Outpost for the Black Beach (kill 8 mobs for one on the beach, kill the Black King for another) that are 17k and 23k respectively, and relatively easy as a solo 55+ warrior, or 51ish+ in a party. One is given in Bulrinto, the other by an orc sitting on the ground right outside the gate. Oh, and they pay like 7g collectively.

Some of the quests are 'daily' and some are repeatables, so I never figured out how many exactly there were....I just did 'em.

This time around I am doing all the quests I can I think I've only left a few including the ghost quest for the second trinket because its bugged.

After I got phoenix and roundhouse upgraded asi and me where clearing groups of 3-6 mobs with only using two spells each. That was some super fast grinding especially in highly populated areas where its easier to gather mobs. I have almost 1,300 armor which is almost the double of what my ranger has at 60.

To minimize downtime I am using mana pots every few fights if I have almost full health and only need mana if I am almost dead without mana then I stop and eat. Its expensive but a lot faster.

Couple of them are way off, but some are pretty close by. There was one where I thought, WTH why did I get stuck way over here? You must have found that one lol.

From this I take it that there are only 2 trinkets and they are quest only quest items. I've never seen any in AH anyway.

Just tried buying food and eating between fights, and it turns out I was an idiot to let my mana regen do that job, should be on track with catching up to you guys.... (36 going on 37 now ^^)

I can send Moogz some cloth stuff too

Yeah cloth only for monks, chunk of armour comes from that passive skill where you gain 5 armour for every 1 strength or agi you have

I'm starting to think drops are random too, especially if the mob is within the level range of the weapon. That larynx dagger and the proud sillar staff has dropped for me from the ghost mob area, 55 mobs - best place to farm gold btw.

For dailiessss, there's 3 in strangers, one in far outpost, and 2 in the bulrino outpost I think they definitely give you a huge chunk in XP, I even do the ones in desert when I was levelling, easy 30k xp.

    No problem BoogerFooger

You missed one more at Suspended City where you kill 6 elites right outside the city. Anyone having problem with target when using your skill. This is causing a problem for me in PVP. I was dueling with this guy and when I use one of my skill, I lost the target. I then used charge and instead of charging him, I charged a level 48 and killed him. I thought I won, but then got killed. I feel bad for the level 48.
