Dave the hacks have been long gone bro lol. They're working on a cap raise to go with the new coming dungeon. It may already be out though, but I wouldn't know. Haven't played in months. Great game though, trapped me for a pretty long time. World of Midgard should be out this month. Anyone here trying it? I know I sure will

Also, I've heard a bit about World of Midgard, but not certain what it is. Mobile MMO I take it?

Yea the only thing you ever have to pay for is the sub, and runes (the games platinum) are optional, save for some end level crafting. The dungeons are always free and its where you get the best loot. There's a normal mode and a legendary mode for each one that vary in difficulty. You will ALWAYS need a group for them. First one is a defense dung. where you have to take out waves of monsters/bosses while protecting the caster npc that's keeping some gate open to bring them out.

The next two are exploration dungeons, kinda like PL where you travel through to the end to the last boss, while fighting mini's along the way

I thought most people moved on from O&C for something else. A ton will be gone once Diablo 3 comes out for sure.

I know you guys have told me not to bump but I feel I should share some information with you guys:

Reason for hacks are by methods of phishing. You go onto a website (a cheesy one) and they can extract some information which can then be used to hack your account.
Other reasons, your Gameloft ID is vulnerable if it is the same as your IGN. Giving personal info to others in game (unless you know them irl) can pose a threat for your account.

It's basically street smart. Ignore all the potential scammers/hackers and don't believe what they say; it's to good to be true!

Also I saw that you can recover your account and characters, runes, gold etc. by emailing GL Customer Care. I know GL service isn't as good as STS so it would probably take 1-2 weeks to get all your things back.

I'm still going strong, just hit 23 and found an okay guild. Wish/hope some of you guys still play, if you do, add me @ Beanmachine

Bean there were players getting hacked just by being in the same area or walking past the hackers avatar. Half of my guild was hacked and had to tart over, and they never went into any website

The games good and fixed now, and has been for a while. I don't play anymore, but I have a 65, 48, 25, and a 16. I think the level cap rose to 75 and there are now 3 super cool dungeons. The latest was released I think when nuri's came out for PL, but I've yet to try it out.

I think you've mixed up the level caps between PL and O&C...the max level in O&C is still 60.

Well glad to hear that they made some security updates, now only cheesy websites and anything else asking for players usernames and passwords can be used to hack. Until semi-beta for WoM comes out, I'll keep on playing O&C.

Sorry to break it to you guys, but the hacking is still bad. SuicideKings gave me his account that had been hacked and returned. I changed the password to something I could remember better than what he had before and the account was hacked the next day. Ive spoken with the new "owner" and he continues to lie and say it's his. He didn't even bother to change the characters name. I also was given permission to use Skimmey's old account... Which got hacked when I changed the pass. Toughie's alt account, Opsies, was also hacked recently. I refuse to change my password now because every time I change a password, the account gets hacked. My own account has remained safe since I haven't changed the password. The name is Foxy, with a slash through the "o", and I can be found on the Arcadian Forest server... Killing lowbies in vega for ****s and giggles.
