Formora - Your mage looks really cool. Where did you get that staff from? Did you have that when we met briefly the other day? I haven't come across any quests yet that give a mage's staff.
I'm level 43 and quests are getting sparse, where did you grind and until what level? Thx.

Thanks! Yeah, I've had it since level 38. It's a blue called the branch of souls bounder. Bought it off the AH pretty cheap. It's the best mage staff until level 50. You can get a nice staff reward from the guardian's rest quest series I think, it looks better than mine but a little bit weaker.
I agree that more quests need to be added. I usually unlock a few quests when I level, and coupled with dailies/repeatables it gets me about halfway to the next level. Then I have to grind the rest. I think you can still get okay-ish exp from sacrathar nomads, it should be really easy to take down 6-8 of them at once. Or, you could try one vs one with the minotaurs at the bottom of the map. I wouldn't really suggest those though, the sandstorm is really horrible. Should be okay if you're only fighting one at a time but I've never aoe'd more than 3 mobs at a time before. Their leash seems to be quite short, if you run a bit then they reset. At level 45 you can start to aoe the ankar elites at crimson tower, provided you have a monk to heal. Whatever you do, try to stay away from the nobles. Their ranged fireballs really hurt.

Ok, I took your advice. This is my new build. I took both poisons and left out explosive shot for now, while I see how I fare without it. I do like that I can now use the wheel again (but gotta acclimate to it once again).
Any advice?
Oh and my archer has finally earned enough of my respect to get a pterasaur

Since you got the poison, it might help if you max the Avulsion Shot upgrade, for 15% more chance to proc the poison
Maybe they are re-organizing the forums. Its a bit messy.
Hopefully they will post more announcements and also a game log of sorts of the changes of any updates they have applied or will be applying in the near future.
Here are some AoE grinding images I managed to find...

And my grinding spot where I hit 60. I recommend using those exp pots / buffs when grinding. It helps alot!
Notice that I chose heretics over the bloodsucker bats. My reason for doing so is because I kill these heretics faster. There a small area where I can haul about 10 heretics and then a group that has 5. And each heretic gives 1k xp with full exp pots (150%). I can clear the 10 & 5 group in a minute or two (maybe less) so thats 15k per (on worst-case) 2 minutes or 7.5k per minute. Doing some math, I think you will get from 59 - 60 in about 45 minutes. So that 1-hour exp buff should be sufficient.
Also the AoE grinding and running around keeps me awake rather than killing bats 1 by 1.. XD
I hope these tips helps fellow mages out there and soon-to-be mages.

Im lvl 51 and pure ranger as u all know..... i just saw my crit ... i'm hitting for 1,700+ Crit with my snipe shot... holy moly.... i'm taking down guys 4 lvls above me....
Snipe > Avolution > Blast and volia... everyone is toast
BTW, whats the guild name u guys are on... I was on the first STS guild then it disappeared after update... then BanHammer added me and now gone also... wtf????

Yeah snipe crits are crazy! I may level an archer soon to.. archer seems the best boss hunting class.
