From the rep I talked to it sounded 100% that we would play on the same servers. iOS users have a head start now!

And Artemisfowll is obviously for a bird...so don't need that

Btw, does this mean there's no master account name so people can tell who's who without memorizing all their chars? Or it's just like PL?

It's like PL. You make An account for the game and then you'll have three free slots and the rest can be purchased. After creating you can alternate between your chars like PL
