Yeah, I'm still a bit on the fence about respeccing. I played with Cryo's divine monk and it's great, but I'm still not sure since I solo a lot (and I love my lion king strike). May give it a few more lvls before deciding. I started putting some points in the divine tree now, so maybe it'll help with mana management.

Someone said the symbol drops are now 100% drop rate. Guess they were wrong or maybe only talking about elemental king (in which case the team that is on 24/7 and kills every one will be very wealthy now).

I have killed Karla 4 times since the update and been there when someone else got the kill, and there wasn't a symbol drop any of the times.

Maybe it is for the General symbol. But it definately isn't for the captain symbol at the Karla location.

Anybody ever got Heartforger staff from umbra? The healing and salvation are quite expensive 1000+ gold.

Les, the temperance skill only help with casting spells. Most of the military skill are not consider as spell so it doesn't help. When you're silence, you can still use tiger claw, mantis, lion king, dragon kick, and phoenix (not sure on phoenix).

About 6 people in my guild have them, 4 of them being drops at umbra. I've never had any luck either.

So basically it only affects healing skills?

Btw, been playing around with str vs. Spell/wisdom gear and I notice if I wear too much wisdom/spell and not enough str, my armor takes a huge hit and I suck in melee combat. I've gone back to wearing more str gear -- seems to affect all the military skills, too, but could be wrong about that. Can anyone confirm? I've got so much gear in my bag bc I can't make up my mind what works best :/

I think temperance affects healing, buff, fire of faith, arrow of faith, and maybe deities infused. Only tiger claw, mantis, and lion king use weapon damage so the more str you have, the more damage you get from those skills. Dragon kick and phoenix are fixed damage.

It is because of Inner Force gives you an armor bonus based on how much strength or agility you have. The more wisdom gear you have, the less strength and/or agility you will have from Inner Force, coughcoughahem.

I just rolled with two sets, one higher higher wisdom, one higher str/agi and kind of mixed and matched as I saw fit. If I was in a tougher area for a quest, I might switch to some/all Str gear temporarily, for example.

I knew why my armor went down, I'm just saying it's hard to strike a balance with military monks -- can't focus on one stat like warriors/rangers/mages.
