Good choice IMO, the fire isn't my favorite tablet. It's best in its class for reading though obviously, but gaming... Not really. You could always root it and get the play store instead of the Amazon appstore, but honestly it's too much risk and trouble, the nexus does more with almost the same price.

Personally I play CoC on my Kindle Fire HDX (by downloading the apk directly), but like Alhunt says, it's not ideal. It's just not built for gaming.
