There is a vigor system that limits how many quests you can do a day. Xp grinding is pretty fast early on, but after like lv20-25 and onwards it starts to get really slow unless you can afford to pay for your vigor to be refilled.

And since questing is practically the only decent method of gaining xp, it can be quite a downer if you're a free to play player

I like the heroes version better, i played O&C quite a while, like the graphics and gameplay a lot tho.
