They've clarified gems are discontinued.
-1 IMO they should not be brought back. Gems are discontinued and so should para gems too. I'll agree to a para jewel but not a gem.

A para jewel or eye jewel would just make it even more OP. It would be the same except resocketable. They really should have made gems unsocketable after the expansion, but they didn't. We will just have to wait for the OP gems to work their way out of the game. Until that time, the jewel system will be flawed.
I think everything is okey with para gems item prices nobody dont want everyone use it right? It isnt very exspensive in 15lvl for warriors like 1m-3m finding para item.You and your 2 friends isnt %99 sir.Also 41lvl para gem bows 200k lol

Maybe if they bring back something like a para gem,but it should be for level 46 ONLY.
They wanted to make this with the eye too,but the twink babies cried about it.
The thing is if they bring it back this event most of the people including my self would farm in multiple accounts
I sure did last year I got 9 paras last year, I was gonna run for lb but when I got the gem and used it, it was so good that I had to farm more, and if I had the time I could've gotten over 30 of them
I don't know what's wrong with some guy, I didn't have to wait almost three months after halloween event, and I could sell that para gem for 4m.. Isn't worth it to return back? F2P

-Don't bring it back, force players to use chaos jewels or drop several mil's on the remaining para supply.
They won't buff the jewels as of now (already made this clear in a diff. thread), so those are the two options.

jewels are completely useless to high levels its only good for twinks 15 below. it takes forever to craft noble jewels lmao and the drop rate so dang low :/
i hate jewels... they're over priced and not as good as gems. noble chaos never reach +2 dmg, the same goes with other jewel (fury, finesse, mind)
making gems unsocketable only will makes current grand gems items price fly high.
i think jewel is terrible idea. the current system only gives advantage to old player. the dev should create better item to encourage both new and old player to farm/hunt the new item. and the old item price will a bit lower so new player can reach the place where the godly old player stood before. with jewels which much worse than reinforced/tarlok gems/para/eyes, plus they're discontinue, those jewel system only will bring desperate to new player. new player will never stand on equal ground with old player until someone retired and sell/give their godly equipment.
*update
my suggestion :
- lower gems bonus or
- buff current jewel or
- make higher tier jewel with higher level requirement which better than (grand)gems and/or
- make new jewel type to rival reinforced/tarlok/eye gems

This is so true. Last year most people didn't know how good they were till the event was over. The stats couldn't be seen in the cs window. I have 14 characters I use for events now and if the para gem returned I'd make another 14 to run for them.
The market would flood and the new jewels would never be used. They have already said multiple times they won't be released again tho so these topics are rather pointless.
