The way stuff has been dropping lately!

It's not that I don't like seeing the color of a mythic every few runs, but it's a quick way to bore and drain elites of any potential reasons to farm (more supply, lower prices, less incentive to farm).

P.S: The meme was meant to be taken as humor, not as an attempt to rant or troll.

You cannot read that? That is clear that it was meant for that. I rather like direct people than that.

At the rate insignias drop, it will be 2020 before I farm enough to craft an orcslayer set. If I want to get it in a reasonable period of time, I will have to spend 3-4 million on insignias. Then I will need the same number of runes, which, although they may drop a lot for you, don't for me. Therefore I will be happy if the price is 10k because there is no other way in hell that I will ever farm 100 of the damn things in the next decade.

I agree with you on those insignia drops.... Mankind will have FULLY colonized mars by the time I farm enough insignias to complete the legendary orcslayer quests (1 time went like 2 days and NO insignia drops)... Buying the insignias makes no sense to me because i'm not too enthusiastic about spending millions of gold on a trash set, which would be a complete waste of earned gold... But may have to actually WASTE my gold on this :-(

In a nutshell.... DITTO on the whole post.... It's clear that we are going have to buy those INSIGNIAS to complete this legendary orcslaying quest, so i'm happy with the rune prices and the rune drop rates (although none has yet to drop for me)....

insignias make the elite drops useless!the 80% of the endgamers still stuck at the legendary quest! cause many of them prefer use imbued set that spent millions for a legendary set worth 100 gold at liquid :P

This questline is so let's say not that usefull at all...stg needed all this time from previous season to come up with two...urm fascinating questline with useless gear..they are not!

These prices reflects the genius work of stg devs!

Stg was sleeping 2013 when Greg ”Ghostcrawler” Street left blizzard. Was a big big opportunity to get one of the greatest dev with such a passion for mmorpgs.

AL had great potential back then and would not fool the gamecomunity with this useless Rengol Theme rather then presenting us real content with real progression and meta gaming. And not depending on old gear/gems/pets.

Presenting only vanities isn't very satisfying at least not for long time

Elites aren't profitable only because are way too many runes needed for a mythic piece and the drop rate is high.

In any case the only solution viable from my point of view is to add another FARMABLE ingriedient for all other 4 mythic pieces with a lower drop rate. Increasing runes drop rate would increase this new ingridient value on the market.

I have no runes in my stash - I specifically told players not to buy that junk before content release as well. Think about it logically, why would I hoard an item that is dropping in price daily for a chance at it rising. You bring up a good point though - the thinking of AL players on how to make money.

Why would I do that? It's far safer to invest in eyes...buying them at 1M each a few months ago and selling now. Wouldn't that make more sense? I swear, the amount of absurd merch theories are incredible. I would never invest in a falling item and I really do not know who would be silly enough to do so.

So you'd like to farm elites for items not worth anything? Or is it that you'd rather have gear handed to you or be easy to obtain?
