New way of scamming?

Hey Guys

Ik this is another scammer thread I made but I havent seen this type of scamming b4. Maybe others have but still i wanted to be sure and tell people, if they did not know. So this guy approached me on my noob mage and thought that maybe i was an unexperianced player. I played along with his tricks to get the full thing to show everyone. I would Like StS to do something about this because the place guy stands is a home to a lot of new and unexperianced players. I bet he scams people everyday.

I kinda got angry a bit in the way but here are the screenshots i took.

Keys:
1. Black colour: My toon
2. White colour: The scammer
3. Red colour: When i gave him one of my items
4. Yellow colour: When the guy gave me my item back
5. Blue colour: Me not wanting to reveal my age xD
6. Brown colour: when the guy left the zone























I used white colour to hide my name and the guys name in the map aswell. I kept my name hidden coz at the moment I do not want people to know who I use as my toon.

If anyone wants to know the name of the scammer, pm me

PS. Sts Pls do something about the name "Pusimdrfckr". Its really inappropriate imo xD

I'll jiggly his name up backwards *wink wink* xD pridehappy see its not against the ToS since I didn't spell it correctly but yea It was 3am and I was really sleepy when he came out of no where

He told me he was quitting the game because of family issues and he showed me what he had

Now remember this was a year ago so that was a lot of gold back then
He saw that I had Arlor on full set
He told me, "I need you to trust me then I will give you my all"
I said, "why not just give me the stuff?"

BTW I was greedy back then

He said, "because if you don't trust me then I won't trust you with my stuff"
It's 3am so I said, "what the heck I'll do it"
I gave him my arlor hat in trade
Then he said "give me the vest"
I told him "nvm I don't wanna do this"
He said "oh okay, sorry for wasting your time"
He than trades me back my arlor hat plus 300k.
I said, "wait you trust me?" He said "yes"
Something in my head just "clicked" and I automatically gifted my arlor set to him and he just ran off XD lmao
That's what I get for being greedy but I'm not going to lie yea he scammed me but I sort of respected it because he taught me to not be greedy.
I still see him once in awhile in paradise pier I tell him "hi how you been?"
But of course I'm sure I'm on his ignore list because he doesn't talk to the people he scammed xD and that's my story 10/10 would tell again

I too have lost my arcane ring & fossil in auto-trade @ Boltag NPC while a player provoked me about duplicating items.

- he will probably keep scamm with new chars.
- i think scammers mostly using new toons and trade items to main char. if you ban only scamm used char its not sense.

On the contrary. We want and need to know the new scamming trends, names of the scammers and whatnot. At least I do.

More threads => more transparency => more people aware => fewer people scammed.

So here's the problem.

There are numerous threads about scammers and their techniques on forums, but the majority of the player base do not regularly check the forums. Yes, it's partially their fault for not being more informed, but there should also be a way to bridge the gap.

STG should post a newsletter in game about these issues. "The AL Times" if you want. If STG doesn't want to put in the effort for this, then they should at least put a bulletin in game with links to these threads.

char ban isnt a fix way as i explained on theory 1.

Sorry to all scammers BUT i believe a scammer do not deserve a second chance (as we all know plat farmers didnt had a second chance, scamm sts is a BAN. its something to scamm players)

years ago i met my in-game bro(Rawkernova) by mistake.I needed an item and he was in town and he was actually selling that item.He asked 25k for it but i only had like 18 or so.I told him to trust me i'll give the rest of gold when my things in auction are sold,and he gave it to me.Since then, we were like family.We lend each other various types of items,from dws to pavise and mythic eggs.We never scammed each other.But now he kinda retired and last time i saw him was ..well guess half a year ago neva 4get
