Level 53 mage...

I have been full int and i am interested in becoming paladin before hitting the sewers... Should i do str139/ int129 or more strength... What weapon set is recommended? I have full shadow set was looking at trading for hate set...

Rift set is best and i suggest more int than str if possible and maybe a little dex for dps. Int is for healings and dex for dps so up to you.

67 Dex for 9 armor Dex ring, rest in INT. IMO

I think hate is a little bit better than rift. Because you are level 53, you could also use a mix of level 53 orange, green and purples. Some mixing and matching of those eq pieces might be better than hate eq.

I would definitely not go higher than 139 strength. In fact, you can drop it as low as 125 if you have the right booster eq.

On a side note, another paladin in the sewers... once you learn the sewers, please consider changing back to pure int. I am tired of boss battles taking so long because all the mages (other than me) are pallys! Of course, I am happy to have you around when I get ganked and killed. Such is life...
