Items for looks

It would be cool if we had items just for looks for example Runescape has the Santa hat And stuff I think it would be cool give me your thoughts.

I'm all for some sort of tabard, or cape, or even some sort of shirt, while having no stats would show an achievement. Like we are already notified ever soo often for how many kills we have. We should be awarded something for that. Like give me a cape or a tabard that only people who have the amount of kills also have. So say I have 5,000 kills I get a cool item, with no stats (just for show), that not many other people would have. I would stand out.

Love the 'kill-reward cool item' idea. Would be another great addition to endgame motivation.

I agree... I try to stand out now, but it's difficult... Editing clothing, buying Santa hats, kill rewards- all sound like great ideas.

I would like to be able to buy different designs and colors for my armor. Have a tailor that sells dyes and stuff.

Then have a guild manager (when guilds are released) that lets you buy a Guild Cape for your guild that you can put a custom design on. Then in PvP guild members will have to wear that cape, but it is optional in PvE.

That would be some cool stuff.

I don't think "covers" is a good idea. But maybe just ULTRA SUPER RARE ITEMS, that are level 1 and need no requirements to weild. So they're absolutely JUST FOR LOOKS. And you only have like a 1/1000 chance of finding one. OR just save em for holiday events. Make them tradable, but you have to be there during the event to have one. Make the event last like a week. And after it ends, the special item(s) would be rare and tradable and be super rare and kewl to show off in the late future!
Events could include:
Holidays
Pocket Legends Birthdays
Reaching max lvl at the time(get an armour with like, 35 on the back or just like a crown or something)
small events from the devs?
Contests
etc"..
^_^ I think this way, it all fits into place, it will keep players attracted for even longer(bcuz they'll want event items), bring new players to the game(same reason), and keep players playing(in the future when they're worth alot of cash, players will work hard and play long to get enough gold to buy them.) :] it's a great idea, and I think the devs should REALLY check all this out.

The main thing I'm looking forward to as far as vanity/holiday items go (always the pragmatist) is the ability to sell them later for tons of g. Phats, anyone?

No you should definitely not be able to sell them just like you can't sell items you bought with platinum. They are exclusive items and shouldn't be sold.
