GF meaning

Hello Pvpers, i have found myself seeing a numerous amount of people saying "GF" (Good fight) I actuallly find this quite annoying because a good fight is not a good fight when one person gets demolished in less than 1 second. Most of the time the player who easily won says GF. I find it very irritating and im sure some other people also find it irritatin as well.

lol i find it hilarious when someone farts in my face XD, and when someone says GF and you know it really wasn't it pretty much says "you suck" not that you do suck

I don't actually pvp, but kept seeing GF in another game and wondering what it means.
If I did pvp, getting farting on would probably make me stop.

It's courtesy. A "gf" no matter how one-sided the fight was shows sportsmanship.

Lol i just started saying gf (only when i fight other twinks in 1vs1 to the ones who fight 2vs me i say 2vs1 noobs) fights always take more them one second (only not if you are mage or without amour and get one hit killed) my fights always take 7-15seconds then i lost or won (fastest kill goes to riccits 5seconds to kill me i forgot auto attack lol).

as elly said. Its a show of good sportsmanship. Saying both players gave it their all, and the better/luckier player won. But that both players gave a good effort and put up a good fight, whether they got demolished or not. Its just words of encouragement.

I believe this has been brought in by players who once played runescape.

My fights usualky take 3-5 sec. I almost always say gf as a courtosy.

In most cases they probably mean "Good Fight"....its like sports in real life, usually winning team(or losing team) will say "good game" "good job" But honestly.....do we actually mean it ahah its the thought that counts man

Its just being polite but I feel that it is inconsiderate to try to be polite when you know that the other person is sarcastic, mocking you, or clearly trying to show manners because then you feel that they are rubbing it in. I prefer not to say gf because it just makes the other person feel bad and that is an emotion that should be bestowed upon some one over a virtual game.
