Lvl 55s and new level cap

Well, we all know there will be a new level cap sometime in the future. But then what about those lvl 55s who want to get the crown of persistence? My solution: move the experience they have over to the new level cap.

Example: a lvl55 has 40000 xp. So, when level cap comes, 10000 xp will be used to lvl up to 57(I think that's how much ) and the extra 30000 will carry over to when the person hits, say, lvl 60. Therefore, the lvl 55 will still have the experience he of she worked hard to get.

So, any suggestions? This is just an idea so, feel free to comment and/or suggest anything!

Developers have already stated that the current 55 to 56 takes 83k something xp. When the new level cap hits, it will be reduced by a factor of ten, making it 8.3k xp. Wherever you are on the process of getting to 56, that's about where you will be. For example; 43k out of 83k exp after update will be translated to 4.3k xp out of 8.3k xp. Don't think this will be changed.
