Sts will still keep promise on discontinuation of arlor sets?

A lot of people saved up millions of gold to buy the elondrian bulwarks when they were OP before they were nerfed. A lot of people (myself included) saved up 2 million gold to buy the steel commando vanity set. A lot of people make merching mistakes. Not everyone controls the market for these vanity sets. It's not their fault for them being overpriced. There simply isnt enough of these out there to compensate for the demand, and so why should players be denied an item for the sole purpose of the fact that people willingly overpaid 3m gold some time ago for the item?

Almost all SnS owners worked hard for their SnS during the 2014 elondrian event. All the previous Nightshade owners worked hard for their nightshade during the 2014 goblin event. Hard work in the past is no excuse for the denying the present.

Imho only the event lb vanities and contest vanities should be rare and never be rereleased. Everything else should be rereleased and made available to the masses.

Arlors are desired to 50% because they look good, and 50% because they are rare.
When everyone has an item, it becomes undesired, since it is not fun to look like everyone else.
Heck, I donīt even have enough gold to buy one piece of any arlor set, but I still say to keep the exclusive items exclusive!

I think a rogue arlor set in deep blue and silver (metallic/sparkly) lining would look pretty, if it follows the silhouette of the green arlor (no pants) It would keep the rarity of original arlors as is, and will pacify people who want it for looks.

First, all Arlor sets should not be re-colored nor come back out. I think STS should make a new type of winter vanity, such as a snowman set? I worked hard to get Arlor and if the price drops to 200-500k that would suck for many players and would cause many problems due to how rare it is.

It is good enough if Arlors come back with new colors. As in my opinion.

I hope the Arlor vanities are returned but they are recolored so that the rarity of the old ones remain the same. Recoloring Arlors would be nicely welcomed. A solution to both rarity/economy problems and the majority of people who don't have it. Like the veteran shields.

Arcanedragon is correct. We only brought back the expansion vanities for a limited time because they are such a big part of the history of AL and we wanted to give players a way to partake in that history. At the same time we're honoring our players who have been around since the beginning with the Veteran's vanity.

Starting with founders gear type stuff? (Like on PL, not the founders armor vanity a!ready in game) this would be nice! Then like the two then three year vanity shield? Either way I like the vet status on PL and wondered why it wasn't the same on AL with exclusive items etc oh and please make these items bound to account wouldn't be the same if not lol

Now that my Steel Commando that I bought with plat a very long time ago is worthless and way too common, eliminating the fun of wearing it, I am going to selfishly say I want the Arlor's re-released for the Winter event. Not recolored, exactly like they were, Steel Commando was not recolored after all. If I am going to get the rug ripped out from under me by re-releasing my "Discontinued" vanity then I think all vanities (that were once purchasable with Plat) should have limited re-releases just to be fair. Prize vanities are different and IMHO should remain a status symbol.

Just to be clear I am not as mad about the depreciation in value, it is the fun in wearing a rare and unique vanity that I lost that irks me.

The aesthetics of Arlor set remains same, nott only this but due to more arlors more people able to appreciate them and therefore make the range of the aesthetics more, as of now most people tend to stash their Arlor sets and take a break from AL..

Nott to forget all the merchers hoarding them or constantly flipping them. Flipping arlors used to be 50% of the traders market section an expansion ago.

I'm pretty sure thats how people who wears LV and Gucci Bags think, oh its not about the value of the item, its about the looks, i don't mind spending 5k on a bag because it looks nice when i can buy an imitation that looks almost the same for 50 bucks. Oh please, people are materialistic, if u wear something expensive, the feeling is different, maybe u will not feel it if ur stuck in front of the screen 24/7 but i never wear a good looking set of cheap clothes over a less appealing set of branded, I'm pretty sure thats how a lot of people think too

I can't believe that besides the devs, the player's standard of expectation of vanities dropped too. Why ask for recolours when u can new original vanities? Each season should have their own specialise vanities, there should not be any imitation/rerelease of vanities as these vanities are something we can use to remember our experience in AL, ohh this green arlor was what happened in 2012, yes, the shuyal liberator was a 2014 thing etc etc, each release of vanity should represent a certain part of al so that there is heritage in this game. The developer's portfolio should be like in 2012 this is our theme, our vanities revolve around so and so., in 2013 we decided to go with so and so, in 2013 we want to try something new etc etc instead of alright we started the game well, in 2012 and 2013 we release all our best ideas for vanities arlors , steeel commando , kraken etc then we can just relax, come out with some vanities from time to time then we recolour them or recycle our past ideas, this is laziness

If it was not for the lazy, we would have no sofas, tv, and everything

But seriously, YEAH! Recoloring comando and kraken and the others for sale atm would be an easy task, could have just added a 3 on chest, or a different glow on the glowings, this would sell alott more shuyals and probably all and the limitness off the originals would still be limited.. (better yet, make all have sir spendalott effect and cost 100p, cash would fill pockets even faster wkwkwk).
Something we can only hope sts do next time the lazyness kick inn.. make the most of the lazyness, like we lazy arlors did when we found out a medium cake worth 20k if opened wisly.... o.o
