Hey Super Leojay! After looking at your request, I have concluded that you would like to be a nuke mage. They have a combation of both incredible group damage and good 1v1 capabilities. Nuke mages are also one of the main builds used in PvP.

Pure Int Mage - (Nuke Mage)
    • Pure Int Mages have the highest damage in the game. thousands of damage dealt per second with group damage spells.
    • Pure Int Mages are incredibly weak when it comes to survivability. They rely on bears to take aggression for them.
    • Pure Int Mages tend to rely on their buffs/debuffs to survive as well.
    • BUILD: MAX INT
I consider Pure Int Mages to be "Expert Mode" Builds. They are incredibly hard to play. Once you master them though, they are the deadliest Builds in the game.
    Pure Int Mage picture

There is some tricks to using nuke mages effectively though. You can one hit kill a mob IF you follow this combo. Nightmare, Lightning, Ice Storm, Fire Storm. Generally, this inflicts enough damage to kill most, if not, all the mob. As a nuke mage, you will want to use these sets to increase your damage.

Mega Mage Bonus - Gem Blast Staff - Level 55
    Equipment -
    Helm; Mega Mage's Gemstone Cowl
Weapon; Mega Mage's Gem Blast Staff
    Armor; Mega Mage's Gemstone Armor
    Bonus: 4 h/s, 4 m/s, 6 damage

Mega Mage Bonus - Gem Staff - Level 55
    Equipment -
    Helm; Mega Mage's Gemstone Cowl
    Weapon; Mega Mage's Gemstone Staff
    Armor; Mega Mage's Gemstone Robes
    Bonus: 4 h/s, 4 m/s, 6 damage

I recommend using the Gem Blast Staff Bonus, it provides the highest increase in skill damage, as well as Splash Damage.

A: i like decent mana and health regen
Q: Are you willing to use health/mana pots?
A:i like regen decent health and mana regen for less pots to use
Q: Can you afford good gears or you want to save gold?
A:depends on the price and yea i like to save gold
Q: Do you have friends to play with or do you mostly do PUGs?
    A:i play with friends

    A:nope
Q: What notable gears do you currently have?
A:sewer queen mixed with mega mage and flushers
I will recommend you down the same path as Mkcecil. Hybrid Int Mage.

    Hybrid - Lvl 55
    • Hybrids are Enchantress's that can equip all Enchantress gears but have stat points put into other skills for the benefits.
    • Hybrids generally sacrifice Int and its benefits in return for Str and its benefits.
    • Hybrids have less damage then pure mages but have higher survivability with the additional armor.
    • BUILD: 173 INT, 105 STR
Hybrids are good because Pure Int mages are known to be extremely hard to play by the fact that they can get one hit killed. 1V1 a Pure Int mage is likely to win though.
    Hybrid picture

You will have the effects of Int, allowing very large group damage. Then the addition of Strength increases your hp, h/s, and defense. Your overall survivability will go up because of this. I also recommend using a Wand/Bracer set to futher increase your tankability.

    Mega Mage Bonus - Gemstone Wand/Bracer - Level 55
    Equipment -
    Helm; Mega Mage's Gemstone Cowl
    Weapon; Mega Mage's Gemstone Wand
    Armor; Mega Mage's Gemstone Robes
    Bracer; Mega Mage's Gemstone Bracer
    Bonus: 6 H/S, 6 M/S, 2 Armor

A: a balance betweem the two

Q: What notable gears do you currently have?
A:death helm talon and wing (currently working on getting death armor)

    Thanks, greatly appreciated

Hey Lowlyspy! I was going to recommend you to a Dual Build, but seeing as your Dex centered (Death gear), I suggest a Hybrid Dex Build.

    Dex Enchantress - Lvl 55
    • Dex Enchantresses are really weak unbuffed, but incredibly strong when they have their buffs up.
    • Dex Enchantresses wear Bird Armor.
    • Dex Enchantresses usually support fire and take little aggro.
    • Dex Enchantresses specialize in 1v1 damage, like birds do.
    • Dex Enchantresses have weak to medium spell damage, depending on your stat distribution.
    • Basically, they are a lot like birds, just with Mage Spells.
    • BUILD: 173 DEX 106 INT or 272 DEX

Hybrid Dex Build's are very good at support. They support the same as Int mages (Heal, Revive, Weakness, Nightmare, BOV, and BOM). Then they have good 1v1 damage. Since your mainly doing pve, you won't need to worry about PvP builds, as these builds are usually centered towards one attribute.

Since your focusing on max possible damage and group damage, I would recommend what you already have, pure int. Maybe also consider swapping out your staff with a gem blast staff, as it provides higher spell damage. Since it's PvP, you will need your stats set up right. If you are fine sharing them, post a picture of your skills. Or PM it to me. If you don't want to either, thats fine and I can recommend my own custom PvP build Skill Layout.

The gem blast actually does 5 less skill dmg that the corresponding gemstone staff.

I'll post a pic of my PvP stats later.

:O since when did the gemblast get weak!? Man they must of changed something after I tested with builds. Anyways, yeah, use gemstone if it gives better bonus then. Good luck with your PvP build. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

    Enchanted Gemstone Staff:

    Frostbite 259-316
    Fire Blast 325-438
    Lightning 312-442
    Ice Storm 209-245
    Heal 132-269
    Drain Life 355-498

    MM Gem Blast Staff:

    Frostbite 253-309
    Fire Blast 318-430
    Lightning 305-435
    Ice Storm 204-239
    Heal 131-267
    Drain Life 348-490

I believe that the gem blast was always weaker than the gemstone staff counterparts; only advantage was AOE and the fact that it was fire weapon (burn proc + ice melt)

Hmmm.. I managed to confuse myself. I need to go back and look at all this. Apparently, somewhere, I jacked my data up.

I don't think this has been true at the 56 cap. Literally every dextress is dual, and 67 dex rest int is a very popular PVP build.

I tried out the hybrid build u suggested (i couldnt get 172 /106, best I could do was 164/106), so far its working out pretty well, the extra spell damage is insane.
    Thanks for the build (^_^)

Hey Solo, sounds like you want to be a Dex Mage . Dex Mages have the best 1v1 damage for the Enchantress Class. I personally believe in the best defense is a good offense, so your damage is your armor. Get a Customized Recurve set, and you will be a monster. But be careful, mages relay HEAVILY on their buffs. In PvP, you will want to time your buffs, so you can fight at full potential for the longest amount of time.

    A: 30
Q: What is your playstyle? Massive group damage? Support? Single target damage? Tank?
    A: Group Damage/Support
Q: What do you prefer to do more? PvP or PvE?
    A: PvE
Q: Do you prefer damage? Armor? or both?
    A: Damage
Q: Add any other information you think would be helpful for experts to make you a build.
A: I like having a high crit rate with high m/s. Currently have lightning, Blessing of Might, and Heal at lvl 6.
Q: Are you willing to use health/mana pots?
    A: Yes
Q: Can you afford good gears or you want to save gold?
    A: Yes
Q: Do you have friends to play with or do you mostly do PUGs?
A: Both. Currently doing a lot of pub games with kids who have no idea what theyre doing
Q: Is this your first character?
    A: No
Q: What notable gears do you currently have?
A: I have a crystalline set with wand/golem, but I just hit 30 so I'm gonna need some new gear.

I was looking at brain-freeze gear. The armor is good since I'm pure int right now, but there's no crit rate. Should I go hybrid?

Hey flowman! You might think this sounds weird, but hear me out! Critical damage is not the biggest factor in support/group damage. The logic behind this is you want to be able to hit on a constant rate. If you relay on critical damage, you can find yourself in unlucky situations, were you don't hit any criticals, and you have a entire mob on you. If you set yourself up with a proper build with good gear, you should be able to kill any mob without the help of critical damage. Also, it does not matter how perfect your build is, you have to do combos properly.

So go ahead and buy full Brain-freeze. If your comfortable with your defense, go ahead and buy a iceblast staff for extra damage.

Do as you have been, all points into int.

Crucial skills to have maxed out - Nightmare, Blessing of Might, Lightning, and Firestorm. Make sure you have one point into ice storm as well.

Here is your main combo, you will be using this 95% of the time.

Nightmare - Lightning - Ice Storm - Fire Storm. Try to time it so that your blessing of might will be active whenever you find large clusters of mobs.

If you follow this combo, you will kill any mob instantly.
