[Android][Xperia Play] Multi touch not working properly

DESCRIPTION:
Multi touch is not working properly on the Xperia Play. This may exist on other Android phones but I have not tested. This has been happening at least since the Xperia Play was released at the end of May. The second touch of the multi touch often does not register correctly (approximately 95% of the time).

REPRO STEPS:
1) Load Pocket Legends latest build as of 20JUN2011 on a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play
2) Enter the game with any character
3) Use the analog nub to run in any direction continuously
4) While running, attempt to change the camera view and notice that it often snaps the camera around
5) While still running, attempt to use various skills by pressing their icon on the touch screen and notice that it rarely works
