Expansion will be like a new patch update onto that client. All events are like patch updates. Events are short-term patches while expansion is like a forever patch onto that client.
Expansion is in spring. You need to ask the Americans when spring is. Where I come from we only have hot & cold lol. (Spring starts end of March I think).
