This is still a work in progress but is it possible that ren lockeds or even certain elite chest drop vanity item essence.

The essence would be used to take an existing items looks and make it a vanity. So for the season open players that still like the look of shipman bow, or for me a tank die hard tank there is no better looking weapon then the 41 bonesaw, if there was a slight possibly to get that look as a vanity item I'd pay with pleasure.

It's just an idea sorry if I wasted ur time.

so those very expensive low level items will become a lot cheaper...and those low level collectors will become frustrated .....
lets say a lvl 1 forerunner vs lvl 16 forerunner set..
lvl 1=2m
lvl 16=250k

they bought lvl 1 items bcuz it is compatible to lvl 1-56 chars
if sts will allow us to make a vanity using armors/helms....then high level armors is same as lvl 1 armors

i know those player who has a low level items, will complain and will not agree to this...specially those who have a lvl 1 heraldic sets

Back then there were no vanity weapons, but the same idea could apply to weapons too.

I had this on my mind for years!!! Who would not love to have forerunner vanity? Or imbued????! There are HUNDRETS of cool looking items that I would want to use as a vanity!! And I would pay for the chance to do so , even tough I hardly even spend money on games!! ( tough , would be cool if f2p players could use this to , maybe a kit system? ) the amount of cool looking vanity combos players can make is nearly infinite , I would love to have this vanity : imbued vanity armor+help , kershal as a vanity weapon
