Combo elixir and Crate Keys

I got both the crate keys and VIP elixirs. Then I checked my alt crate opener and had crate keys as well. So, essentially, any account that's opened a locked crate gets the keys I believe. That account also had purchased platinum, so it could also be a factor.

I've purchased plat and have opened locks in past but I didn't receive the key crate. Doubt if dose r the factors. I think it's all random.

i opened locks too but i did not receive the crate keys so im guessing it might be based on the how long you have played? I hope a dev can answer this lol im so bad at guessing ahahaha

i think its "random" or for player who more contributed many gem in event..
coz remiem said key is an special item in special event
maybe last event is special event

Bcos only some got that crate keys and it is tradeable, they sold it at high price in cs ( just now 280k-300k++ )

Default Combo Elixirs and Crate Keys in Stash
Hey folks! You may have noticed that you and your friends received some gifts in your stash today! To celebrate the expansion release, we granted 60 min combo elixirs to everyone's stash to offer a little bit of a head start on the new content.

Additionally, we granted some Crate Keys to a very small set of randomly-selected players to see how they are received. We plan on making Crate Keys widely available in the very near future.

She clearly stated that it was randomly selected, but it seems to be very specificly selected as well. They also said that it was to know how the key crates are received. There must be some criterias. They must have made a list of potential players and randomly picked people from that very specific list. Hey guys, we got enough keys to open 3 massive locked cryostar crates. If this bothers people, I am ready to share the loot I get from those crates. Any lucky key crate holder wants to follow me here?

The key is dropped in random player stash so its mean based on ur luck, then lots of peop got 2 kit but i only got 1 combo

Most of my friends who bought a lot of plat get the keys. Maybe those 'randomly-selected players' refer to 'players who bought many plat'?? I dont know..just guessing
