You may have heard Gary, Spacetime Studios CEO, mention in his recent live stream with the Android Guys, mention that we're going to be sponsoring this year's Big Android BBQ.

Many of the Spacetime Dev Team will be in attendance. We'll have more details in the future as the final schedule firms up, but for now, if you're in the Austin, TX area, mark October 1st and 2nd on your calendar!

The Big Android BBQ is the world's largest event for the community of Android users, Google's mobile OS. It is a weekend of meeting with friends both old and new, experiencing various round tables with notable Android developers, and having some good old fashioned smoked BBQ.

The event takes place in Austin Texas on October 1st and 2nd, 2011. Saturday is made up of community based events, as well as the developer roundtables. Sunday is totally dedicated to the actual BBQ itself, coming together to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Android.

If there was any way for me to come I would. First of all its Texas bbq. Meeting some of the spacetime team would be a close second. If I am somehow able to make it, just look for the guy staring at the brisket like its a beautiful girl in a bikini.

Any player that can drive themselves and lives less than 4 hours away should go. I would. The barbecue alone would be worth the drive. And meeting the STS guys in person would be so......epic.
