When Will Star Legends Launch? - Currently Working with Apple for App Approval

That's kinda like saying, "Of course all my test answers are right--I turned it in!" Gremlins love to infest code. No matter how careful you are, they just do. Don't ask how I know this.

ETA: STS and Apple both want it right. I'd much rather they take their time now instead of down-loading, getting a taste of it and, "Oops! Big problem so the game's down until further notice!"

You also wouldn't turn in a test half finished. They did their best to find any problems. Anything apple would find would most likely be minor.

Seeing STS's work, I would think they did, but code-gremlins are *everywhere*! And re-do's aren't just for mistakes. Sometimes it's as simple as, "We've found an exploit that can use *X list of command lines*. Mind changing that around?"

As for me turning in something half-finished? No. Putting nonsensical answers to some questions? Possibly. Very, very possibly.

I no longer believe they would tell us anything like that. What is their motive? What would they gain by telling us they had to resubmit and wait through another week for it to come up in the queue again. That week has come and gone. There has been ample time to repeat the entire process twice.

Sure these are just assumptions, but I've been here for the various PL version updates and it has never taken this long. So my best guess is, there was something wrong with PL from Apple's testing and STS had to fix it. That's the only reason I can guess why it would take an extra week (plus) after coming up in the waiting line.

They used to tell us almost everything, but it turned out that we LOVE to debate utterly irrelevant things ad nauseum, and especially we like to second-guess every decision. So, if it's transparent, they just don't tell us any more. So I think, if it got rejected, we wouldn't be told. There's nothing we can do anyway, except howl, and that gets tiresome.

Also, just because it worked on Android for the beta testers (which took an extra two weeks to make that happen, don't you remember), doesn't mean it will work on iOS.

I hope they get it fixed, and soon. But I am glad it's being tested and that it will be fully operational when they do finally release it.

Anyways, don't want to to belabor the point, so I'll post on some other thread now.

Yeah, that's true... but...

He said the approval was not denied. There's a difference. It would only get denied if it were one of the stupid, useless apps that are submitted daily. I am sure that Apple wants STS to fix some things. But STS is under no onus to explain any of that to us. Apple would only deny approval if STS refused to make the changes they want, which I highly doubt.

This was the scene outside of apples main headquarters today. An angry mob of spacetime fans were causing a scene of chaos. With the much anticipated star legends full release looming the fans couldn't contain themselves any longer.

Apple does not release apps by themselves they release apps in bunches of 20 to 30 apps at a time so it wouldn't matter if blackstar was first in line or 15th in line to be tested it's gonna take long either way
