Should I Push to 56?

I'm not sure when the new maps are out and wondering if I should make the push to 56. Post how long it took you to get to 56 and if you know any information on when the maps are going to be released. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been submitted to apple so there is 2 weeks... ; )

Slushie runs though, if you're expecting loot from bosses, it'll push it. How long are you on per day?

It took me like a month / month and a half.

Well I did it in 2 weeks, and honestly, I thought it would take only 5 days.
Basically on 1.5x's, you need to have quite a lot of gold, I spent 2 million for 40-56.
I did it with full-no boss runs at first, and then switched to Slushie runs after doing several quick runs with my little Slushy buddy.
It devoured quite a bit of some time, but when I got to 56 I was glad I only had to spend $10 on the game the whole way. (The $10 was necessary to buy the maps before they were free).
It took 70-90 hours in total, about 5-6 hours a day.
You would get distracted or lose hope halfway but you always have some high-spirited friends to give you a Stomp on their Dex Bear and push you along hinthintthebirdwiththewitchhathinthint.
I hosted half of all the runs I did and made many friends but sadly made a few enemies, some lower levels that I had to boot due to my strict 55 and up run policy.
I also asked 2 or 3 to pot multi-pots of any type if the runs went slower than wished.
All in all I don't think you should do it, the day I hit 56 was absolutely positively the worst day of my life.

It took me around two weeks (well,I'm 2/3 to 56) aswell, 1-49 with no elixers, then 50-55 with 4x. Sam said the pl update is still a while away, so ill hopefully make it to 56 by then. Really want the persistent helm lol. If you want to go shed some xp add me ig!

Edit: I hosted some hideout gold runs yesterday and found a great team (no bear, 3 mages and 2 birds) we barely died. Its so hard to find a good team like that haha. I might host some later

Go to 56 if you haven't gotten a single character there yet. But make sure you want to do it.

For a week or so I ground in a ton of xp (almost half way to 56) on my bear from nothing, but then got bored with PL again and I haven't played in a week or two. Meh not a huge loss. I might get re-engaged with the new cap.

My 1st and main I did in months, using only 1.5x on the last 10k xp;
My 2nd I did in 40 hours using nonstop 4x;
Yesterday I finished my 3rd, lasted multiple weeks, 3x and 4x, had less time.

But these are from lv 1 to 56 and you do 55 to 56.

I believe it was calculated this can be done in 24 hours on 4x elixers. So if you want to make it in say 8 days, then u need to play 3 hours a day using the 4x.

If you want to do a boss and use at least 3x punch elixirs, catacombs is great fun and really fast.

i just don't see the point in potting to 56 yeah you have a head start against the 55's but the exp amount goes back to normall at the end so they wont be behind by that much anyways. I play pocket legends for the enjoyment not for the races and competition! I just don't see the point
