STS, what's happening with our Friends' List? =/
I heard many players lost many of their friends, sometimes even more than 50% of the list. In my case, I lost 525 and I had 995 =/
It seems that only old/inactive friends had disappeared and, for example, a player called Boss (was on my list) is on PVE kills LB, and if we try to add him says "player does not exist" hummm ..I believe it's not the only case like this.
Can we know what's going on STS?

We're starting to trim friends that have not been online for more than six months to increase database performance.

I barely speak with 5 out of 50 friends, what are you doing with so many.
Does that mean that their account is deleted? Or does it just mean until they pop back on, they are "disconnected" from everyone?Originally Posted by Justg

Their account may or may not be deleted, but if they have not logged on for six months they will be dropped from your friends list.
Oh I see, thank you! I thought about that too coz I lost so many, and +90% off my FL was added on 1st 4 seasons, so I guess that explains the big loss.
Lol, I got most of them on 1st seasons..now I rarely add players my list is on 960-1000 for more than 1 and a half year. And do you only speak with 5 out of 50? lol

Apologies for not getting in front of this with you guys. We need to do this maintenance to the friend's list to preserve performance, much appreciate the understanding.

Hmmm weird because my friend was a bit inactive and later i found out he was banned forever... Not sure if this has to do with that but he was gm of <Stinkers> lvl3-5 pvp guild. Just assuming this has to do with it because why else would someone get banned when they arnt even online much.

Can't choose those people we dont want to loose in the FL? I have friends who stopped playing due to some circumstances and planned to be back after a year. I don't want them to trimmed from my FL.
If this really increases performance, I don't mind it. Our friend lists are full of long inactive people anyway.
A question, if someone goes inactive for a long time but may plqn to come back later, can he/she still access their account and retrieve their toons and items? Many a friend has gone inactive and then come back (myself included, though not for as long as 6 months). Just seeking clarification for people, in case there is now some complicated process to get their inactive accounts reactivated.
Why do we fall? So that we can rise again.
I sent a friend request to a name I wanted and it said it didn't exist, but when I went to go get the name it said its already in use?
Most names are reserved, I think you should remove all reservations as it's clear that these people do not play the game.

Have they been removed also from guilds?
