I have to admit, I lolled when I saw, "No, the update isn't new levels or Star Legends - just a quick update to keep the game running smooth" followed by "No, it isn't" (my curiosity wants to know what that was in response to.

Slight correction: the new turn-in NPC is Swift, not Smith. Just did it.

Personally, I prefer to pick up the quest from the Blacksmith before going into level 1.
