    Default Should there be a class restriction in PVP?

    So there is no class restriction in PVP that's why most PVP players complain about "Tank stack" or "Mage stack", i would like to take feedbacks about class restriction, is it a must to have in PVP to solve it or not. My opinion is yes as for 2 per class a team at least it will be stopping Tank stack and Mage stack.
    As for now whenever i go TDM i usually see 3 tanks per team if not 4.
    Would like feedbacks about this topic and also would like a dev/mod to check this.

    -This is going to help by making all classes participate.
    -No more stacking classes.
    -Both teams will almost have the same setup
    1 tank 2 mages 2 rogues
    2 tanks 2 mages 1 rogue
    2 tanks 2 rogues 1 mage
    Will be the avaliable setups
    -Will limit the ganging by a bit, most gangs nowaday are tanks and you got to prepare your team before clash or join a random team.

    I agree that pvp is now all about who has more swords, my geared rogue dies real quick in clash against stack tanks even horns is not enough to keep me alive because of the huge amount of pools and glintstone set axes

    Yes please, please put in class restriction. I've come to realize that PvP cannot be balanced without forced class restriction.

    What i have noticed in PVP is that even if you arrange a clash with same classes once the opposite side start to lose they stack anything they can in order to win, same issue might be happening to you right? Also most TDM games now are full of tanks and 1 Dps a team or none

    The problem with putting a class restriction is that pvp is usually dead. So if there's a class restriction, it will only make it more difficult to find a match.

    Also, people should be free to make up teams as the wish. In my guild or friends list, a lot of times there are not that many members or friends online so I play with who is available. What if I'm getting ganged? Do I have to only search for a certain class of player that is able to join?

    those are my concerns with something like this.

    PVP shouldn't be played by mostly 1 class though, if you enter TDM now it's full of tanks ganging each other, rogues either die real quick due to the sword proc or get swapped, mages maybe 1 a team. Even the top pvp guilds are stacking tanks now.

    What do you mean by the points at tank rogue and mage? Are they for clash? It will make clashes even faster if you have a class restriction
    2 tanks 3 dps will make it faster instead of 3-5 tanks

    Just add another bracket with prerequisite of all three classes per team.then u mix and match.if you alter what there is now,your saying that no one can run all tanks,mage or rogues.Some people like to do this.add instead of subtract.

    Just my opinion.

    Do not stop people from using all warriors or mage or rogues in a pvp game.

    Instead,add another type of pvp area where you must have one of each class in your team.

    Well I'd say make TDM overall so you can use any class but turn CTF to class restriction since its more based on teamwork to flag.

    I would like to see this like we got test in PvP stat to balance it out. Lets say one week can only 2 tanks join game. Second 3. Third just one. We don't need worry about DPS tho. Stacking mage or rogue isn't problem at least from what i see.

    As a twink player i disagree with this idea, because
    1) i don't want to end up playing in a died lvl-bracket
    2) we twinks like it to have our own start-up for clashes (which we can change based on the situation). This makes it more fun to play and even funnier than you kill a team with 3+ tanks.

    And I'm not rlly experienced in endgame pvp although i played it for 3 months i think

    Its easy to take tanks in clash down in twink, i was a twink before and all what you need is a mage with curse to take tanks down but that does not really work in endgame and most of their clashes in endgame is tank stack. So I'd say it would be better to make a map free for all ( any class allowed ) and another with class restriction

    Agree there should be a map with class restriction. For example CTF with class restriction and TDM with no restrictions

    You know what better than class restriction? GUILD restriction, this is better to avoid gang and block XD

    Tbh nice idea if there is a guild vs guild with class restriction would be more legit imo.
    Guilds have to use all 3 classes not 1-2
