dex bird dps issues

Just hit 50 with my bird and was able to buy sb bow and ol helm.

I was expecting a high increase in DPS, but I feel like I lack in efficiency.

I have a pally and I storm through mobs faster and with no pots at all when I solo. Compared to my bird, he struggles group of mobs and is a pot chugger.

I also managed to hit 10k kills on my pally before hitting 50 at the same which my bird only did 7k.

Am I being gimped by subpar gear or doing something wrong? Or are dex birds really are just boss/Pvp killers and not mob killers?

Birds can be mob killers, but you'd need to do full combo's to do so. I don't think birds can compare to the mob damage of mages anyway, but birds have the highest spike skills in the game.

Nothing wrong with what your doing, mob clearing is what mages specialize in. Now get a bird+mage to mob clear and thats way better.
