The 3D view is native resolution, but the UI is upscaled. We will eventually have a hi-res UI (similar to iPad for Android tablets).

I'm using HTC Flyer with Froyo 2.3.3 to play, resolution is 1024x600 , running smooth except the sound glitch.
Have not tried on my XOOM yet due to no Android Market support.
