Default How to Decide How You Want to 'Mutate' Your Pet

Since the new Pet Animancy system came out, so many people have already thought out or even tried out numerous combinations and tried to find the perfect combination to make sure that they can get the upper hand in combat. So if you want to create the perfect 'mutation' (or 'mutations')yourself, here is a few things you should consider:
1.What is my preferred play style? Defensive? Offensive? Supportive?
2.What do I want my pet to excel in? Being the Stunnerator? Providing millions of buffs? Banishing millions of enemies? Being versatile? Decide what role you want your pet to play.
Here are a few suggestions that I have came up with that might conform to your preferred pet(s):
    Stunner
    Base Pet:Ironbite or Yowie
Arcane Ability:Kelvin or any other stunning arcane ability of your choice
    Happiness Bonus:Your Preference

    Buffer
    Base Pet:Fantasma or Slobber
    Arcane Ability:Singe,Deary,Maridos,etc.
    Happiness Bonus:Singe,Maridos,or Arcane Deary

    Banisher
    Base Pet:Maridos
    Arcane Ability:Shady and Surge,Nekro,Samael,Munch Mouth,or Grimm
    Happiness Bonus:Your Preference

    Tanky
    Base Pet:Your Preference
    Arcane Ability:Maridos,Nekro,Little Bear
    Happiness Bonus:Singe,Arcane Deary,Munch Mouth,Maridos

    DoT
    Base Pet:Gloom,Singe,Nekro,Blinky,Wurmtongue
    Arcane Ability:Magma,Gloom,Blinky,Nilbog,Slobber,Shady and Surge,Singe,Toor,Munch Mouth,Abaddon,Slag,Nightshade,Violet
    Happiness Bonus:Your Preference

Feel free to show off your favorite combinations.

Ironbite's passive does stun, also chance to bleed , and reduce hit chance by 15% - and it hits multiple targets

For my PVE combos, I left the newer Arcane pets alone, but I use Sam with a Nightshade Happiness for decked out stats, and nightshade I used a ribbit egg. When i'm running with a group of mages, nothing beats ribbit's AA hehe

I'm a little disappointed with Whim Bro's AA though. I remember seeing videos of him pulling the whole map mobs but it just seems so small when I use him.

Yowie's passive has a chance to proc this thing called ice block which is a freeze. The freeze can also affect bosses. He also has a chance to debuff hit and armor and can hit multiple targets.
