Best pet Mage Pve

So im a Mage and I only play pve.Which is the best pet to buy?I have 3 million,should I spend all on Nekro?
Is he worth it?Or is there a slightly cheaper pet which is almost as good as him?

Nekro is worth the extra money u spend. It has high(est) passive damage and shield will ensure u are encased almost all the time when mage shield is on cd.
Also banishing is not often but when it happens its very useful.

Nekro Is a must have for mages if you do elites, shield will provide protection when your shield is down, his AA is both offensive and defensive, deals some med damage, has a 50% chance to terrify ( which works on bosses too!!), and provides a shield, and sometimes it banish.

I would go with nekro also. Some people like to use pets based on situations, but I think nekro is an all around pet that you can use in any situation, provided your party doesn't have more than 2 nekros already.

I still believe even over the new updated pets, nekro is op! If your team has 2 nekros and your also a mage, time your shield when nekros aa isn't active.

Is Nekro better than something like Arcane Deary?
