Are "event twinks" still a thing?

I remember ppl talking about running events with a specific lower lev in the past, do folks still do that?
What levels work(ed) for you and classes.
Or was it easier to just run events on your main.

Looks like one may be on the way and I might start a new toon, idk. What about y'all ...

L15 is apparently considered the best but I have a L16 but it still works pretty well

I use lvl 10 rogue. Solo or random. Lower level takes longer to kill bosses so it can become tedious.

Hello, yes it worked very well and i still have a free slot in case.
-Lvl 16 because the gears was scaled at this level and cheap.
-Lvl 15 because most pvp players used this level...like twinks on PL

It was op because you use just the skills you need at the lowest difficulty. Now regarding of new arcane gears, pets and proc...You can use this method if you haven't a hight lvl or if you want farm the event.
But you will wait longer for mates or play with beginners last days.

I used a warrior with the skills full tank and one taunt so if ur on a boff party you can keep the boss alive. Now, i do only with my main and try to smash the scores.

Good points about the lv 16 stuff because I still have some odd items at that lev so no need to invest.
So leaning towards a mage

Rogue is okay as a second choice though ;P

I hear you, I assume they would be some pvp folks who might find it easy to do events in this way as their already geared up and know their stuff. I was thinking of the way that I contemplated making a hauntlet runner just to get coins/eggs. I'm odd like that as a farmer

im using 46+ alts on same account sharing gear
nice for token farm, just daily 3 is enough to get some for recipes etc

I have tried with lvl 15 with legendaries and it was a bit painful, i gues it needs pvp gear with loads of para etc
