    Default Experience: Who wants some?

I did some experience testing today with a throwaway character, aptly named "Tester".

Tester ran through the Blackstar intro level multiple times, and here are some of my findings.

    1. EXP is rewarded in fractions, but the system rounds the number up.
    2. EXP amounts are randomly rewarded. I was getting 1-2 EXP per kill at level 1, but the EXP progression did not fit a fixed pattern. One run would yield 1/3/4/6/7, while another would yield 1/2/4/5/7.
    3. The amount of EXP awarded for the first training area exceeds that of normal enemies. I was able to reach level 3 after three runs (7 kills each) of the small map.
    4. You can stay in this area until you hit level 4 or kill the Boss (Harry Hijack).

    Enemy Color Circles:
Enemies have a colored orb next to their health bar that is colored based on their level relative to yours.

    Red: Well above your level
    Gold: Above your level
    Silver: At your level
    Blue: Below your level
    Green: Well below your level
Black: Too Easy - No EXP awarded

    Level up Thresholds:

The amount of EXP increases by 26 EXP each level after level 3.

    Code:
    Level 1 to 2: 8 EXP
    Level 2 to 3: 16 EXP
    Level 3 to 4: 42 EXP
    Level 4 to 5: 68 EXP
    Level 5 to 6: 94 EXP
    Level 6 to 7: 120 EXP
    Level 7 to 8: 146 EXP
    Level 8 to 9: 172 EXP
    Level 9 to 10: 198 EXP
    Level 10 to 11: 224 EXP
    Level 11 to 12: 250 EXP
    Level 12 to 13: 276 EXP
    Level 13 to 14: 302 EXP
    Level 14 to 15: 328 EXP
    Level 15 to 16: 354 EXP
    Level 16 to 17: 380 EXP
    Level 17 to 18: 406 EXP
    Level 18 to 19: 432 EXP
    Level 19 to 20: 490 EXP
    Level 20 to 21: 458 EXP
    Level 21 to 22: 484 EXP
    Level 22 to 23: 510 EXP
    Level 23 to 24: 536 EXP
    Level 24 to 25: 562 EXP
    Level 25 to 26: 588 EXP (Currently 10x, or 5880)
(If you would like to help fill in the rest of the levels, post your level and the EXP required for the next level.)

If you hit the max normal level (currently 25) , you can keep leveling to hit the next level (26). This takes 10x more EXP than normal.

For rounded numbers - Cinco and the design staff likes to round numbers up. For example some weapons in PL with weapon speeds of 0.8 really have a speed of 0.75 which do account for some discrepancies in DPS.

Red xp enemies in pl gave something around 1.25 or 1.5 xp, while enemies with a gray orb gave 0.25 or 0.5 xp. Not sure how it works in sl. I believe the 1.25x xp per enemy with a full party still stands in sl like on pl. Elite level caps is 10x the normal amount of xp required to level to the next level.

In PL, did the orbs have as many colors as SL?

Also, in PL, did EXP scale with party size?

I think the orbs were (not in any order) red, green blue white gray and one other color; Lovenus has a thread about it. The 1.25x Xp bonus only exists for a full party and is the only bonus that the devs have commented on in the past.
