    yep mythic better:
    more armor
doesnt matter if you have 40% or 70% hp,always proc
armor increases every stack up to 250(i think) then explodes in a large area
the more mobs are in area the higher the damage will be
and last, if you know how to use it well, you can make it explode up to 10 times in a row, every second for 10 seconds = killing hordes in seconds

While the new arcane sword is excellent with it s stun and banish chance, i am not yet sold on the new aegis too.
The reason is, i use the old aegis of grit with a para in it, and this leaves me with a bit more armor and comparable stats on the old aegis. Thats not taking into account the armor stacking proc and the ticking aoe damage. I will have to test the new proc mechanics under heavy mobs, but so far i can't imagine it can hold up to the old aegis taunt, aoe damage and armor benefits. Shouldn't it surpass the old at least in some categories? Btw the artwork is fantastic.

I own the new arcane aegis and I must say Im very dissappointed. So far the use of the new aegis is so difficult that doesnt allow you to play with your full potential. You will have to be always on low health to see the proc wich work together with jugg but as soon as you are full health you have nothing, no proc. It doesnt have sense at all. This weapon is arcane but it doesnt feel like one. It needs revision on the play mechanics of the proc, is to difficult to use. I have try it on elite underhul and its useless. On PvP it gives you an advantage over DoT attacks on you. With jugg active it will explode constanly when you reach low health. The explosion does 600 dmg after 70% and 1200 dmg after 40% wich is why you will always have to be on low health to make it work. Not so useful like it works now, I beg for a revision and a stats buff.

Here is another thought: The old Aegis had in fact less armor than the earlier myth shields. This is perfectly understandable if you factor in the stacking armor proc. The new Aegis does not have a stacking armor proc...
