It depends on how hard you can farm, since drop rates on lockeds decreased, should take about 1-2hrs to make 250k. And no you dont have to buy luck kits with plat, the gold that you earn form km3 use it to buy luck kits, you'll make some profit

My average is somewhere around one mass cry worth of locks an hour, more or less.
So your recoup depends on luck and how much you can invest in luck kits (& time)
Then again, I have seen a couple threads lately of people complaining about their luck
my experience so far since new cryo locked introduced : lepre + 25% luck elixir for 30 min run i can get about 6-8 cry locked..rarely can get to 10..sometimes if locked dont drop for the first 15 min i will log out the game...waiting about half an hour and start grinding km3 again..then will get locked..works everytime..i dont recommend after u ran out of 1st 30 min luck elixir u open more in a row cuz (probably) u will get much lesser cryo locked or even zero drop..and dont run km3 with lepre first and after few runs u decide to stack ur lepre with luck kit...u will get less..(mybe its just me being superstitious)

Generally u will be able to make a massive locked in about 2-3 elixirs + lepre farming km3. Alternatively u can always keep on lepre during event or random runs for that extra 15% reroll chance for getting lockeds or eggs in certain maps. It would take maximum 4-5 hours to get back your gold put in lepre. So it all depends on how much u can play in a day.
Also try if u want faster km3 runs run with the highest level pugs ie lvl 54-56 (or at the very least 46+).
That way u always have a full map and runs can happen faster saving you time of the running luck elixir with lepre.

Ive been using 30% elixer lately (bought a good few when they were cheap) i use 30% elix lepre and arlorian ring and i get atleast (10) locks in 30 minutes everytime once got 20 in one elixer it works best if you leave lepre off until boss then switch and try to do alot of dot on boss makes ring proc better. I use my mage while doing this times are always around 1:10 30% is alot better and helps but price is high now so dont know if its still worth to buy it.
i had a theory on drop rate of cryos
in summary
during normal play less drops
during events more cryo drops
reason: a hidden limited amount of cryos, more consumed more drops and vice-versa
basically i pay 14k on avg for a luck kit
in 30mins i loot 2-4cryos, (rng hates me in km3) thus approx (8k per cryo)
i earn 24k, minus 14k i spent on luck kit
thus 10kprofit every 30mins for me
(i dont get luck in km3 though) idk abt others
(during event i looted 4-6cryos) i still believe my theory, pm me if u want the long form of it
Wow, I did 2 runs with lepre + elixir.
1st run: 6 locks
2nd run: NOTHING
seriously, does the logout trick work to reset? I know I can have bad luck, but 30 mins and not a single lock?
I was averaging at least 6 lockeds / 30 mins a few days back. These 2 days have been very bad, had a 0 in 30 mins run. I'm going to stop wasting my elix till things are fixed. I'm not sure if this have to do with Mishi and Hisha but it's a waste of time and gold atm.
