What gears do you use?

Lvl 52 Antignome Band of Power
Lvl 52 Antignome Amulet of power

In General i would get a better buff from a full Antignome set than from my 3/2 setup. But this allows me to switch ring and amulet for the Venomous Haste Set and still maintain a big buff so i have more options on the table. What other set/buff combos do you guys use/recommend?
(My setup is only pve/underhuul)

I know there isn't much to explore outside of Underhul atm, but how well does this combo work, say, on event map or Rengol elites compared to the Underhul-AR-PP most other players use?

The eyes help some, but its really the planar pendant and arcane ring that contribute a lot to the hp. Many forget or are unaware of the hidden (+) stats they posses. (See the photos below.)

I am completely gearless, also I don't have any pet equipped. The green numbers show the amount gain I should receive towards stats when equipped.
When I equip the items I have more stats than what was shown prior to equipping those items.

Yea, this is part of the reason I haven't switched to arcane pendant yet.

Outside of Underhuul there is no buff at all. The stats of the parts are very down to earth and someone using the new myth belt, arcane ring and planar pendant is probably way better off. But with ten levels difference to the maps i don't really bother keeping a second set.

I have seen your stats, played in maps with you, I will say your stats & skills are fine When I used 4 parts antignome, if tank died, I still died too.
Elite underhul maps are very survivable when there is a skilled tank in party.

I have a build that is not perfect for either pve or pvp, but works for both. It saves me gold on respec kits.

My gear is:
Lvl 56 Arcane Gun (3 excellent mind)
Lvl 46 Imbued gem cap of brutality (2 eyes)
Lvl 56 Beetleborn brutality vest (2 excellent mind)
Lvl 56 Elondrian Brilliance belt (3 excellent mind)
Lvl 41 Arcane Ring (1 para, 2 eyes)
Lvl 54 Arcanist amulet (3 excellent mind)

Currently, I use planar pendant (3 eye) for both pvp and PvE because I loaned the arcane amulet to a friend who needed it more than me. However, the arcane amulet is better for both pvp and PvE. The only scenario where planar pendant is better is duels.

I am curious about pve and PvP mages skill builds. I have already come up with seperate amd hybrid builds that I think work the best with my gear, but would like to see what others have come up with as well.

The weapon of your class that gets the most nerf-threads from the other classes is usually the one you want to have. The weapon that get's the longest Design-Blog explanations is the one you want to avoid

I using insectide/entomancer helm and armor of warfare it gives me best armor boost with nearly no damage loss compared to potency/assault. I use in my set excellent nature jewel so i don't have hp loss due to potency/assault set ( compare clean its +- 100 hp loss to warfare set but better armor of course ) however assault set is still better for pvp if you are using dragon hunter sword and/or arcane aegis. I still use legendary belt because my budget don't let me afford mythic one but its definitely worth money to get one. For one who can't afford aegis i recommend beetle elytra of assault/potency 56. I used it for long time before i got aegis grit and it was good weapon.
As i need to tank hard elites such as underhul or rengol i buff whole party with effigy and cryogem
