I was wondering if this would happen soon after seeing it in SL. Cool idea to include possible stat increases too.

They really should get SOME hit. Doubt STS will do it though.

Faces that you have already purchased will be upgraded to having their associated stats without you having to re-buy. Faces are not an item, per-se, so currently you lose them if they're changed and cannot be changed with your build.

So what exactly does this mean? For example somebody with the Duck face will get the stat increase of the 10 plat face without having to pay an extra 5 plat?

Now I have a question. Does this mean now we'll be able to keep the faces we purchase? With the stat benefits, I think it would make sense to be able to switch faces depending on your current build. That way we can change faces to boost a certain stat if we need to, besides just looking cool in our new skin.

Base stats are base stats. Faces, or any item, are bonus stats.
