Is arcane bow suppose to do 5k dmg?

I am wondering this thing for a quite while and feel something fishy going on here.


Suppose rogue has 1200 dmg then calculation may be:
1200 x 2 (200%) x 1.5 (critical) = 3600 - dmg reduction/armor.


How come its doing 5k damage in pve. I don't understand how the calculation is done but something must be wrong.

Please STS tell us the calculation is right.

your calculations are so wrong, bow doing 1500 dmg as non crit and 2000 -2300 dmg on crit on mobs

plus acording to dev's calculations(cant disclose names) bow vs dag is like this:
dagger doing %10 more skill damage than bow
and bow doing %14 more basic atack damage than dagger
and this is actually makes the bow little weak than intented on single target but its gonna be fixed thats all i can say

LOL, I only really post about class fixes. I've advocated for several class buffs, including your beloved sorcerer shield. You really have no clue what you are talking about.

It depends on which map you play on pve. I doubt any player knows the actual formula to calculate damage output.

I remember clearly rogues saying that they do 5k dmg on autoattack. My concern is based on that. I don't do screenshot so I can't show you proof nor i have 56 rogue with arcane bow.

If you read clearly its not nerfing thread its about the concern about bow doing insane damage. Just requesting dev to look if its a bug or not. Bug needs to be fixed right?

5k auto attack damage is only done with a charged auto attack. The gun hits harder than the bow on auto attack, this is a fact. So, if there is something to complain about then I suggest you first post about the gun.

Anyways, both guns and bows are supposed to do 200% attack damage so there is really nothing to complain about.

I have seen you crying more than anyone else when they needed the armor. When they brought 46 arcane and lot others.

You say bow is doing 200% damage. And bow doing 4k 5k dmg . is that 200%? Seems like you need to take maths class.

When you compare a charged attack to a regular attack, the damage is considerably more. Yes, that is actually less than 200% attack damage. You don't believe me? Grab a bow and grab a dagger and measure the damage output on the same mob. I know what I'm talking about in this case.

And sure, if my class gets an unjust nerf I will definitely complain about it. I also speak up for other classes if they're not up to par with others. Your level of biased cannot see that, that is not my problem.

Yes but you guys are reading? The guns also are doing 200% damage and with a proper use can be even more deadly than bow cause the gun's basic attack is more quick than bow.

Lol, you do realize there's a plethora of buffs that came for warrior and sorcerer and I was one of the strongest advocates for them? However, that's your personal opinion.

The fact remains that the gun also does 200% attack damage, it hits harder than the bow, and it hits quicker. A thread like this is uncalled for. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. There's no use for a bow if 200% attack damage is removed.
