No Experience after Level 13!!!!

I have just started playing this game and I have to say: I love it!! I'm a Level 13 archer but right when i reached level 13 the bad things started happening. I killed some bad guys and then looked at my profile and it said 0 experience out of 302. I killed some more guys but it still said 0-302. I was playing with some friends and they were killing guys and had that little +xp sign over their head! But i didn't! I killed tons more guys but I still didn't get any experience! So I deleted that profile and made the exact same thing again, named him the same, upgraded the same stats, did everything the same. But when I reached Level 13 the exact same thing happened!!! I stopped getting Experience! This is really freaking me out because I don't want to do restart again. Please do something about it! I know its gonna be hard because other people are not having this problem, but at least try to help me. I would be really grateful.

Tituso, Level 13 is the cap for the free campaign. In order to level any further you'll need to purchase the next expansion for the next batch of levels and level cap.

they should have a big msg come up on the screen when you hit lvl 13 that saids "buy the next campaign to continue to level up" or sumthing like that

There is, you just aren't seeing it because you have purchased the campaigns.

Thanks all of you for helping me out but please don't tell me I'm a noob because it did not say that in the help things. But never mind that cuz now I have a real problem. I bought the next level pack and started playing on it but now I have 29 out of 302 and I'm not getting any experience again. Anybody got any advice for that?

You need to play in the campaign at or above your level.

If you have an enemy targeted, there's an indicator on the left end of their health bar which is colored based on their level relative to you. If that indicator is grey, they are too low for you to get experience from.

level range per campaign:

Forest Haven 1-10
Dark Forest 10-15
Balefort Castle 15-20
Fathom Crypts 20-25
Lost Expedition 25-30
Ancient Swamps 30-35
Alien Oasis part I 35-40

Once you are 3 levels above the level for a campaign you stop gaining XP and need to move to the next campaign.

Yes, and when you are even 1 level higher than the bad guys you are killing, the experience you gain is reduced, until as Ed says you gain none when the difference reaches 3 level.
