Level 46 Arcane Staff or Level 51 Mythic Staff?

Guys i need some help here, i'm at level 50 atm going to 51 soon, but i have one question, what weapon is best at level 51? Arcane or Mythic? I alredy own the staff, and it is pretty good for me, also the proc works well for me too. But about the Mythic one? The + DMG and proc is better than arcane staff?

The mythic staff can roast mobs to death and the arcane staff is good for its DoT against boss

There is nothing better than lvl51 staff proc for pve... IMO it does better job in dealing AoE damage ( insane amount tho ) than all the mage skills combined. It stacks as long as the targeted GROUP is alive ( limitless ) making it op for elites. I tested it and a group of elite underhull mobs with a healer dies in around 5-7s from the stacked proc. I suggest use both , flame forged for mobs and dragon staff for boss/pvp .

i prefer 56 arcane staff now ... banish rate is quite high and rotting flash is quite good against mobs

Thanks for the tips! Also i'm using the Arcane now and i almost have the gold for the mythic one, the arcane level 56 i gonna buy soon too, but now i'm doing a lot of elites (Getting the elite kill aps) and this gonna help me a lot, thanks guys! You both are pro!

Wildfire proc (51) is still amazing. A party with that and a 56 arcane staff is deadly since wildfire hits so fast it helps Rotting Flesh (56) banish more often.

Both work very effectively in Somberholt and drag staff is beast on Voriyana and Lich.

You should keep Drag staff no matter what because you will need in Somberholt against bosses, Its up to you whether you pick immo staff or flame, I have friends that use both and they are all proficient for running deep in the maus, I use flame staff (100% gold loot), but really what you should be focusing on is lvling and then getting good legendary gears to run somberholt, which for mage are pretty cheap atm.
