i actually can care less about this event, but after reading that in this event we can't farm free energy:

let's say that i'm fully using plat based energy kits, to craft elite awakening gem, you'll need a total of 120 essence dropping from the boss, assuming that we can only get 1 essence per 1 boss, in and individual viewpoint, i need to go inside 120 times, get 120 essence, and trade the other 80 essence with another class. so, again, in individual viewpoint, i need to spend 120 energy x 4 plat to get one elite awakening gem. a total cost of 480 plat... probably for the efficiency, i won't run this event at all, since most probably you won't release the elite awakening gem kit for 480 plat a piece, which is equal to a special chance in slot machine, or will you?

edit: owh, so you've released the price for the elite/empowered reawakening gem? it's actually 5 plat per gem? and to farm it you actually need 480 plat? hmmmmmmm

i'm afraid you are being overly paranoid with the last eggstravaganza event, this event is definitely a negative event, just like bloodgrub runs, we'll see how many will participate in this...

Like you've said I don't think they realised how successful the egg event was going to be.. I bet they though most people would have just bought plat and then bought egg through the vendors, which they didnt.. That's why the removed eggzavier from the event 2 days early.. They didn't count on people farming for hrs and hrs and looted the eggs they wanted and didn't have to buy them from the vendors so they have panicked and put (pretty much) a plat exclusive event on lol

We'll watch energy usage and event participation and possibly tweak if needed.

I'll just go about my regular daily farming and enter portals when they appear if I have energy, but I'm not going to purchase any energy or use any of my previously crafted energy for this.

Also, it appears you can be on the leaderboard without ever entering a portal, since the leaderboard is based on how many gems you craft. So can't you just sit in town by the auction and buy the various shards from the auction and keep crafting? Yes it will cost gold, but it sounds like that would be the way to be on the leaderboard.

Sounds like the best way to use this event may be to farm shards and sell them in the auction.

5 plat for the Elite Awakening Gem.

There is no real incentive for us to run this event,assuming 1 run drop 1 weapon piece you need 120 runs (To trade between each other) to make an elite awakening jewel which we can then purchase in the plat store for 5 plat in the following week, 120 runs = 600 plats for a bounded item that will only cost 5 plats for a tradeable and stachable one after? that is what I'm reading right now.

Furthermore there is no tokens for us to dilute our cost of running, this event is something i will stay away from, common sense

The Awakening Gems and Elite Awakening Gems crafted through the event are bound to the character, they cannot be traded nor stashed

making the awaken gem unstashable doesn't do this event any justice either, careless twinks who crafts the gems on their low lvl character or twinks that have no lvl 46 will suffer from this event because

You must be Level 46 or above to awaken weapons, but any level weapon that is Epic or above can be awakened.

For an event intended to introduce the awakening system the no craftable energy essence hurdle is very demotivational, especially given how you reroll every awakening slot every time you retry instead of keeping what you like, and God knows how many of these casino chips you need to get your weapon the way you want it.

better if the lb awakening gems is not random stats but will give an exact stats that you want, bcz energy essence is not farmable in this and we need to spend huge of plat to buy energy and to get in LB RANK, just suggestion

It is already point wasted, if i got 2 of the awaken enhancements after so many attempts then i rerolled and boooooooooooooooooooom now have to start again. Is it fair ?????? God knows

After such a successful event it would have been a smart move to come up directly after with a new event to keep up the activity in game. Everyone was pleased and happy, haven't seen so many people online and active in a long time, and now you release an opening event with an absurd cost of energy/plat that isn't only frustrating but lets the player base fall into some state of shock warning/not wanting to participate and neither having motivation nor internal/external energy to keep up farming and enjoying this game. Since you are listening to our feedback I suggest adding to the plat/energy portals some rare free portals so that the majority of players has something to hunt.

Plz make energy essence farmable! Craftable & tradeable energy tokens will give non plat folks opportunity to make some gold during the event. The way I see it, people that spent money on plat to get perfect pets during eggstravaganza event will not be willing to buy plat to compete in this event! Secondly, as was mentioned in previous posts, spend 480 plat or wait a week and spend 5 plat. That banner you get for making it into the leaderboard is more like a sign of how badly you overpaid for awakening gem and few ankhs... not sure if anybody will be eager to show it off. Is there a way we could have banners awarded for a league (bronze, silver, gold)?

I believe u must choosing between 2 options:
1. Remove energy system in this event
2. Make energy essences farmable and craftable.

If not, I'm pretty sure the participant of this event will be minimum.
