You can buy them from slim for gold but you cant trade them and you can get tradable ones from barrels in pvp

Yeah. If you are looking for them try forest manor or alien underground(or atleast in my experience, not sure if drop anywhere else)

I thought they dropped in AO1, same as kite shields. Both green and gray exist just like with the kite shield, but green is somewhat rarer (but not by much). People used to farm them a lot a while ago and they'd go for maybe 100-150k, but then the market got over-saturated. This was months ago in the Balefort days so I might have misremembered the details.
